Can't read full message in the Empire Times

I'm new to the game and whenever I get a message from someone in my Mafia, there's a News Item ticker. I click it and then I see the messages received from other players. But wtf I can't read the full message. Can anyone tell me where can I read the full message rather than just a few characters of the message?

if u just received the message close the app and start again to get it faster on your wall, otherwise it takes a couple mins till its moved over to read it fully in ur comments
