When you rob someone it is restricted to 10% but why is it also restricted to a £30,000 maximum? Surely if someone is dumb enough to have £1m on them you should be able to get 10% of that?

It's a $30K max per attack, so with up-to the 10 attacks allowed before the player is too beat up, you might haul away $300K. And there are people who would argue the dumb player who had $1M out of the bank was actually crazy like a fox...

And to be clear, no-banking is definitely not dumb. I contend that using the bank blindly is much stupider. You are willingly losing 10% just so you don't risk losing money to an attacker. One is certain loss, one is potential loss. If you don't believe me, read these two threads:
