Maybe someone can give me the Cliff's Notes version of this and what it means to me. I keep getting inundated with messages to "go to 499", which is kind of difficult because I'm at around 1500. All this does is mess up and blow out my newsfeed and prevents me from playing the game with utter vengence.

What category does a player fall into if their attack is around 38k, their defense is around 50k, and they sell all of their money buildings so they can't be robbed?

Indians are a longstanding and organised gang, perdominantly made up of high level high stat players. Presumably admittance is by invite only, subject to your stats being high enough?

Rat Catching was more of an initiative to try and do something about the 499 problem. It was started as a one week thing, and it was open to players of all stat levels who wanted to hit on those with 499 mob size to try and, at least partly, alleviate the problem and encourage players to level up to 500+. After that week of action many went back to doing their own thing, mostly that means Thug Life, but no doubt many will continue to whack on rats in the name of all that is good and righteous ;)

Wanna be a Rat Catcher? Easy. Do it now... go hit a player on 499 and post this on their wall... "You have been taxed by the 499 Rat Catchers. Increase your mob to 500 to avoid further attacks. We'll be back"

Maybe if they actually quit, and didn't attack and rob me incessantly.

I'm a level 131, over 500 on my mafia, I'm around 28k attack and 31k defense (28k actual) and I think I'm around $60k/hr with my hood, with some big money buildings (GCs, UCs, crematoriums, churches, etc.) . It would seem this joker has sold his money buildings because I could hit him 40-50% of the time successfully. It's one of the fatal flaws of this game that sissies like this can hide.

Deleting buildings is considered by many to be a valid tactic, particularly by those who are into fighting and robbing rather than property development.

The fact that it illicits responses such as yours is no doubt a part of the reason why they do it. It is an antagonistic strategy.

I deleted all my buildings and planted a forest on my lvl 79 acct just because I wanted to see what it was like as opposed to my lvl 125 hi maintenance acct.

It's actually very entertaining. Especially when people whine and cry on my wall.

Yup, no one can rob me back and no one has successfully attacked me in 6 weeks though they try about 40 times a day.

Its no stress about collections and I can play whenever i want where as i'm sometimes feel tethered to my lvl 125 like its an infant needing formula. I dont mind that but having two accounts to babysit was annoying.

Now its a blast.

It's basically just me trying to justify a terrible addiction. Lol

It is very liberating and another plus is you can do all the reckless, devious things you might not try on your hi lvl acct because strategy and tactics come into play more when you've invested more time and money into it. IMO.

Mayhem and reckless abandon are the key words for my lo lvl acct and it really is Wicked fun in a totally different way.
