Regarding the glitch - did it do anything to me that I haven't figured out yet or did I just benefit with cash? Reported btw. I'm a bit slow right now. Been up all night with two sick toddlers. One throwing up - the other a trip to the ER with the croup.

No, your good its all on the attackers end. But they are banning them as we speak but reporting them protects you from repercussions.

Had this happen to me by a few people. One guy is building a nightclub with a crappy hood. This pisses me off because I grew my economy and am saving for one legitimately.

They buy lots of expensive hood ornaments with the glitch money and sell them back and bank it.

If players don't know what to look for how will they know what to report. Basically if a player has a lot of expensive ornaments lying around their hood especially clustered together and of the same type chances are they're using the glitch. If your attacked by a player with weaker stats than you and they are purposely loosing 100k+ to you they are using the money glitch.

I tried it about an hour and a half ago on old account. I got a message "the request was completed ok but the server returned an application error".

You can still do the glitch and get equipment tho.

Just a thought, is that old account updated. Common belief is that this glitch came from the last update so an older version might not work.

Just as an fyi... I have a camper on android and it was updated over the weekend..It updates automatically and has a bunch of times since it came out..

It is updated. I too believe it happened with the last update when they did something to automatically give you the cash in attacks.
