do you save your gold? or do you spend it as soon as you get it?

sometimes after buying some gold i usually spend most of it right away and even if i have a few bars left over, i still someone manage not to be able to save it. anyone just been just being gold and storing it up for last few months?

Mine is all tap joy, I think iv prob got about 400 or so, bought 1 gents and on 106 at the moment which I am saving for second gent, I think I spent over 140 on energy for testing farming locations, my impatience is regrettable, bought 3 of the original low price crates too ages ago

Other than buying 2 ice cream shops have 399 gold from Tapjoy saved up when I decide to exit camping mode from level 8 :) ....... :(

Out of the 1500 I just bought I tried my luck with 500 gold on crates. I will now save the rest for new crates because I am hoping the new crates are better. Therefore, with new crates I will spend but for now I will save the rest and wait+rebuy when new crates come out.
