When you complete a thug life round do you always receive RP AND an item for inventory?

I just completed the round of "defeat 13 members with 400 mafia or more" and only received RP.

Your links are messed up.
Since TL ~52 or so, I have gotten a reward every 5 levels.
52, 57, 62, 67, .., 112, 117. I'll check 122 after 46 more fights.

I believe this is the recurring order every 5 levels (117, 122, 127 etc...) until 220.
