Where are you getting your blue boxes?

Just wondering where your finding to be, the best place to get blue boxes in PVE.

Get them from emir island mineship you never lose a unit and a good chance of getting boxes

I got like 20 at the Insurgent camp, got about 30 more on the Docks, been getting 3 or 4 per round of attacks from PvP. I'm actually trying NOT to get any more right now because I'm testing the theory that the more boxes you have unopened - the lower the chance of finding a part. Last event, I had 168 unopened cases at the end of the event

Im getting just about none from doing PvE. Have to do some PvP to not waste hourly openings. People with 1000 more attack than me keep attacking me, losing half the fights and taking my cargo boxes in the other half. Every time im out of the house ive not been opening boxes this event because i don't have time to look for a target in PvP and PvE isn't giving me any. Sitting at 0 boxes most of the time and if i get to 2 or 3, someone decides to suicide attack me until they win some.

@Mcdoc where at the insurgent camp? I'm having a horrible time finding them. I've been getting the best luck at the mineship Flan mentioned. Thanks Flan :)

After you told me that the night the event came out, I went and blew all my energy on that leader and didn't get a single box. Maybe you were just lucky.

I, like JMC, have gotten very few from PVE. I have gotten quite a bit from PVP though. I have gotten failed opens probably 3 out of 4 tries though... These events seem to hate me...

I have just updated my thread about box drop rate.. Pls be warned! There are no longer boxes drop from missions below 26 energy. Really? good to know :)

My strategy:

PvE day 1 - day 1.5, then I switch to PvP day 1.5 through the end.

For PvE, I hit up Emir Island, the m/s (minisub top left, black tiny sub). I collect enough cargo/boxes to get me through the mid of the next day. Others are also collecting. I switch over for that very reason, everyone else has also collected and PvP expends much less XP than PvE (2-3 x 8 versus 66, respectively). By end of day 2, I can collect up to 5 cargo per PvP hit.

I typically level up by 2 for the whole event and only collect enough cases/cargo to get me to 10. I carry an excess of 5-7 over what I need to get to the next goal (3, 5, 7).

Not me. I lose from my meat shield, mostly, but by sitting tight and letting my army and economy (and thereby, my army) gain strength, I often attack people far weaker, and suffer no casualties.


I just lose so many units in PVP :(

do the submarine over and over (top left of map) you will get loads i got 2 in a row from the sub

I find tht doing the goals missions will certainly drop lots of boxes. Been doing tht fr this n last events in the 1st day. Never fails

It's all mathematically calculated. The more energy a mission needs, the more likely you are to get a box. Drop rate for 500 energy missions is 0.8. I can give more figures if requested.
