How long do you think it would take an average non-gold spending player to accumulate a billion in game cash?

From say, fights/robberies/income producing buildings?

I'm seeing a lot of billionaires nowadays...

Well, at $1,000,000/hr that would be $24,000,000 per day. There seem to be a few $1,000,000/hr players out there but not many. I don't know what a "good" robbery haul per day is, but I saw a few posters say they can get $6,000,000 per day through robberies. Let's just pretend for a minute that a player has a $1,000,000/hr income and is able to rob $6,000,000 every single day. That's $30,000,000 per day. It would only take a little over a month to accumulate $1,000,000,000.

Even without robbing anything, just a $1,000,000/hr income will produce $1,000,000,000 in about 42 days. Not unreasonable at all in my opinion if somebody played long enough. It seems like players would be able to accomplish this within a year if they focused a lot of effort on their economy.

I can totally see what you're saying and I agree, but what if we take into account the lead up time to get to, for example, the $1 million per hour income figure? That's got to take months, right? I've been playing a low level account with no gold and a planned investment strategy to maximize income and returns, and after some months I'm only at about $66/k per hour. And we'd have to take into account the reinvested funds to buy/upgrade buildings.

That’s also with a 100% collection rate. Unless all your buildings contributing to your income per hour are easily collectable, like 6h, 12h, 24h & 48h buildings, you are not going to have a 100% collections rate. So it may take longer.

This is also a good point. It would take quite a bit of time to get to a 1 million income per hour. I think thats why he said it may take around a year, to account for the time to get to that income level. Although I think it may take longer.

Are we talking in game unbanked cash? I personally haven't seen any

Not unbanked cash, but enough cash to buy $1 billion+ in items.

Edit: Ahh, I see the year estimate now - that seems reasonable. But hasn't the game been out on iOS devices for only about 8 months?

I really don't have any hard evidence for my 1 year estimate. I'm currently at $150K/hr income, but I have all the good gold buildings except for Palm Hotels. I think it would take a very long time to get up to $1M/hr without any gold buildings. I don't have much experience with the real heavy hitters.

I think you'd have to start off right away putting pretty much all of your time and effort into your economy and do everything 100% "correctly".

Fredo, I'm collecting about 90% of my daily income ($1,000,177) at the moment but don't forget the end maps contribute about +$1m every 2 days so reaching that Billion is a rising income curve as you upgrade and construct. I'm aiming for $2.46m per hour with certain upgrades so $60m per day will only need about 18 days in reality to reach $1billion in the bank from scratch. It's been a slow careful climb to get to this point and most players either go for income or battle stats so in-between you'll be moderately strong and pulling in moderate cash. I always say Income opens up more doors and I enjoy that aspect of CrimeCity and decoration of my hood especially, it's like gardening

Not long if did cheap upgrades could have a billion within a month at a guess, currently have 350M in the bank but upgrades now are costing over 120M each

I only told one person this before they quit CC, but I had 600 mil in the bank. Started saving for my casinos long before I would have been able to unlock them.

My income then was a measly 400k + an hour, so use that as a reference.

Just worked the math & can account over $1B spent so far. Second $B will come a lot faster!

It took just over 6 months.
