I have been inspired to start yet another thread. As always, it's meant to be a bit of light relief from the stress (really?) of the game and/or current event.
I noticed both Digitalwalker and Aidan are sporting pretty 'heavy' signatures, as I suppose my own is. I thought it might be fun to get a 'signature bank' up and running for any wannabe gamer-philosophers, who are then free to steal one they like.....
Let's see what happens, and remember, the 'heavier' the better!

I like this idea. Was trying to keep my profile/signature as simple and neat as possible because there is so much to read in the conversations alone, but this is fun.

I love deep, inspirational quotes. Been reading them for years. I included two in my signature. Will probably switch them up from time to time..

Awesome start, SM! For other contributors, though, it's not necessary to actually use your suggestions for YOUR signature..... Better to have some ideas that others can then steal!

Ohhhh, I get it now...lol.

I love all of mine. Don't want anyone to steal 'em...lol. I'll post some good ones later.

You really do get bored and stressed alot over this game. LOL It is just a game.

I got tons of them but updated mine yesterday to "Live and learn, From fools and from sages".

I was going to stick something in the lines of the Lone Ranger.

My new catch phrase of "A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty 'Hi-Yo Silver'... Maverick to the rescue!" of just seems to cocky

I could add the Lone Ranger Creed that some people loved so much that last time I put it in a thread. But it is way to long and I doubt anyone would bother to read a hyperthread link to a shared doc. Here it is agan though.

The Lone Ranger Creed!
By: Fran Striker

"I believe that to have a friend,
a man must be one.

That all men are created equal
and that everyone has within himself
the power to make this a better world.

That God put the firewood there
but that every man
must gather and light it himself.

In being prepared
physically, mentally, and morally
to fight when necessary
for that which is right.

That a man should make the most
of what equipment he has.

That 'This government,
of the people, by the people
and for the people'
shall live always.

That men should live by
the rule of what is best
for the greatest number.

That sooner or later...
somewhere...somehow...
we must settle with the world
and make payment for what we have taken.

That all things change but truth, and that
truth alone, lives on forever. In my
Creator, my country, my fellow man."

Those were good ones Mav,
Not sure wht u meant by 'heavier'

-Nothing fails like success

-The average woman wud rather hv beauty thn brains because the average man cn see better thn he think.

-Friendships is like peeing on urself ; everyone cn see it but only u got the warm feeling tht it brings.

-He who laughs last didnt get it

-Men r like bank accounts, without a lot of money they dont generate a lot of interests

-Hard work nvr killed anybody, but why take a chance?

-i told my wife a husband is like a fine wine, he gets better wif age. Next day, she locked me in the celler....

These r bit common

-If love is blind, then why lingerie is so popular

-Sex is not the answer, sex is the Qs, Yes is the answer

-Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag u down to his lvl n beat u with experience

-Men hv 2 emotions; horny n hungry. If u c him without an erection, make him a sandwich

-whr's the diff between hungry n horny?; where u put the cucumber

-Politician n diapers r both the same. They need to be changed regularly n for the same reason

-My penis is so polite, it stands up for girls to sit

-sex is like playing bridge, if u dnt hv a good partner, u better hv a good hand!!

-Money cant buy happiness. I have 100 million. I was just as happy when i hv 80 million

-woman without curves is like jeans without pocket, u dnt know where to put ur hands

-The last thing i want to do is to hurt u. But it's still on the list

Maybe the Funzio Devs need to add things to their signatures too.

-The only constant is change

Here's one for you TC lol

Failures do what is stress relieving, while winners do what is goal achieving

This is a bit of a long one but one of my favs

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

"Patient with both friends and enemies, you accord with the way things are."

"The truth is not always beautiful, nor beautiful words the truth."

"To understand the limitation of things, desire them."

"The wise man is one who knows what he does not know."

"He who conquers others is strong; he who conquers himself is mighty."

"Give evil nothing to oppose and it will disappear by itself."

My favorites are:
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

If you won't stand behind our troops, you can stand in front of them.

and

A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remoreslessly all that stands in it's path.

I read some of the messages and they were very inspired. I would like to put one although it's not at the same league as yours. It reminds me where i am from and where i have so many friends who i miss a lot. Don't laugh, please! Here it goes:

My land has palm trees,
Where the thrush sings.
The birds that sing in here
Do not sing as they do there.

Our skies have more stars,
Our valleys have more flowers.
Our forests have more life,
Our lives have more loves.

In dreaming, alone, at night,
I find more pleasure in there.
My land has palm trees
Where the thrush sings.
