If funzio has a gold sale beyond 20% discount,
Would you buy?

yea, but you never run out of virtual merchandise so I don't see them doing it. I concur with you Mr G to the WIZ. I only see this happening if funzio for some kind reason decides to have a gamer appreication day or week otherwise eeeeeeeent (buzzer sound) not gonna happen :(

they do so well w/ the 20% already, i cant see them basically giving gold away with an even bigger discount

I am holding out for a sale so I would definitely buy when it comes back. Random specials of more than 20% for a day would definitely be a greater incentive for me and others.

How about an accumulative approach; buy 10 since funzio seems to like this number, 10 purchases and then receive free gold based off of your ten purchases.

A major cut in gold price, even if only temporary, would lower the value of gold items for the foreseeable future. In the long run it would only damage Funzio profits, so I don't really see it happening, sorry.

However:

How about an accumulative approach; buy 10 since funzio seems to like this number, 10 purchases and then receive free gold based off of your ten purchases.

That wouldn't damage the system.

+ 1 here. I like anything that gives an extra incentive to keep purchasing gold. If you make it a little cheaper I think the returns should be higher. For example, let's use the capital gains tax reductions in the 1980s as a comparison. Those lower tax rates caused a higher tax gain because people decided to finally sell positions. I think if Funzio had a larger sale it would bring more people in to play with gold. Just my opinion...

I have to disagree with you here. Real gold is more addictive than Pixel gold :D
