Anybody else 0 for 4

Curious if anyone shares my bad luck. Got to 7, 9, 7, and 9 in the four events so I have recieved most of the weapons, just no end prize. No complaints, I enjoy the events, just wondering.

9, 9, 9, 8 (easter weekend and an internet failure meant I barely got to play) using only in-game money. Also enjoy the events, but it would be nice to win one eventually.

Got all the prizes except the final in the last 3 events.

This last event I only played with money option - other 2 used gold so will try to stay away from gold playing in future since results seem to be the same.

Yep I will join the close but no cigar club wasn't playing for for first event but 6, 8, and 9 for the last three. Sat at nine for two days. Ohh whoa is me....

Speaking of cigars Funzio should make a Exploding Cigar limited edition or event item. Maybe Prank themed LE items like Black Eye Sniper Scope haha sorry wasn't trying to get of topic.

I would love to get that 10th item just ONCE! I'm not complaining about the other free items, just saying it would be a great triumph to get to the goal of all ten items.

No end event prizes for me. I tried... used gold a few times. No big deal that I've never gotten the 10th item. *shrug*
I enjoy the events, too. After these events are over I keep thinking, "there is something else that I have to do," then I remember: it is over. Takes about a day or two to get over the urge to unlock something every hour. Hopefully there will be a next time.

My worst run of luck was the pathfinder event. Sat on seven boss bag whatevers for five days.

i never won any grand prize too. ended 9,8,9,9. all events without gold. just enjoying the fun of it and getting the free items along the way.

Spent some free gold I collected for the last event. Still no dice (no pun intended).

I dont think I am ever going to buy gold or spend gold on these events anymore with people getting significantly better odds with 2-3 event wins without spending any gold.

Plus, the law of accelerating returns means these people have a huge advantage on us peons. Not really worth spending a dime when odds are now stacked hugely against you now.

I'm not sure what this "law of accelerating returns" is, but I suspect you're misapplying it if it exists. The law of DIMINISHING returns says pretty much the opposite of what you're arguing. As people get stronger in this game, the return on their investment of time and money will shrink, causing them to care less about winning these events. Weaker players will see a much greater jump in their overall power level by winning them and will try harder, investing more time and/or real money.

Similarly, there's another law that really only applies to games like this. The law of "power creep." Over time, developers are always tempted to introduce new, more powerful items into games like this to make them interesting and useful. I suspect that the items over time will get more powerful and make older items obsolete. I have the same thoughts about why people who were able to farm 500 M4A1s will not be dominant for all time... eventually there will be other guns introduced that will make them as useless as all the butterfly knives in my inventory.

On every event i open boxes,bags, etc. every hour minus 6 hrs for sleep, and i end up getting everything but final item.
I guess I'm just not meant to have final item, wish I had better luck. I kind of wish dedication factored into getting final prize, but it's all luck gold or not.

I got 2/4. The dice that I really wanted (75 TJ gold), and the Pathmaker that I didn't really care about (0g).

An anonymous individual over at Funzio gave me 60 gold to use for the Burner event. I was tempted to spend it on a non consumable explosive, but I decided to use it the way it was intended. No luck.

I didn't get the Sig, and that's all I'm saying about that.

7, 8, 10, 10 only spent 15 TJ gold on pathfinder. The Pathfinder dont really care for the 20% I just needed a big A/D Item for once. I would trade my Pathfinder for the Emerald Burner any day. I really enjoy the 25% from the dice.

I got the 1st and 3rd events, never had to use gold.

I got to 9/10 on the 2nd and 4th events, blew a crapload of gold, didnt get the item =P

I hit 9s in all of them in game cash im not a gold player. So close everytime but still so so far.

9, 9, 9 and 9. I've spent about 200 gold on each event in the last couple hours trying to get the 10th item. I'm quite annoyed :(
