Alice's trick works. Hold the button down for exactly 2 seconds.

I waited until it was ready to open and I chose the free option. I didn't get anything. Then I waited till it reset again and then waited 10-15 mins. And did the medium chance. I got dp #8. Then I waited until it reset again and chose free option and got a gangland carbine. Then I waited until it reset and once again waited 10-15 minutes and chose medium chance and got dp #9. Unless this was a coincidence, I found a better way.

What I do is wait exactly 1 hour since my previous open attempt then I choose the medium option and press the button once and only once. Then by some random calculated chance my box either opens or does not open and I repeat the process. This sure fire method has gotten me to 8 as of 3 hours ago. Hoping for continued luck over the next day to get the last 2 ;)

Good job Ram. I just got #9 tonight too. I was going to show my family some pictures on my iPad at the dinner table but then I noticed I only had a minute to go before I would have a bank box ready. I made them wait for it and the whole family got to witness the ninth pendant dropping for me. Now if it would have been the tenth, my story would have been a little more interesting.

I was on 9 for 3 hours only before number 10 dropped. All on ingame cash option. I may have lucked out but judging by the stories in the forum, the drop percentages are really better than the previous events.
