Any idea what happens when one of your mafia quits the game or becomes inactive? Will you always keep that mafia, or does it disappear at some point?

Unless that member removes you from his mafia before he quits, he will continue to stay in you mafia, even if he is not collecting or participating in the game. Basically, once an account is created, it will always exist. Funzio has magical powers to terminate accounts completely, but my guess is that seldom occurs.

I asked CCM something something similar about dormant accounts in the rivals list, if you care to read it. It's kind of along the lines of this subject.
