View Full Version : Average RP/PvP (10 hits)

I have been getting what seems like a lot of RP from attacking rivals lately. Well, more than I have been anyways. Has anyone else been noticing something similar?

I used to average ~30-45 RP per 10 hits, but lately I've been getting 50-60 RP per 10 hits quite often. The strength of the rivals I'm attacking hasn't changed, and I've slowed down lately too (started saving RP).

How much RP are other people averaging per 10 hits on a rival?

I thought it was random, but many people have suggested that there are different strategies that might affect the amount of RP gained from PvP.

I did change one thing on my end though, but I doubt it affects anything. I used to just attack a rival, make sure I liked what I saw on the results screen, and then keep going with the "attack again" button. What I do now, I still check the results screen, but only on the first fight. After I look at it I close it and attack rivals in their hood, allowing all RP, loot, and cash, to just fall on the ground.

I don't think my new strategy affects the amount of RP I get, but there is one huge benefit that I have noticed. Fighting rivals seems really fast when you don't use the results screen every time. The last time I found a rival with lots of cash on hand I was able to attack him for $300k in probably close to 10 seconds.

I always assumed that the closer their stats to yours the more rp you get like with better odds of getting loot, maybe I am wrong

I'm pretty sure all the rates for PvP drop (loot, XP, RP) are random, but I do question that belief when things appear to deviate from the norm. Is it a coincidence that I'm suddenly getting more RP than usual right around the same time that I change the way I play? I don't know, but it makes me wonder so I put it out there for discussion.

I will test this out... I seem to see more loot drops right now than before and was wondering if its related to events and the dropping of bank boxes

Dudeman, with the amount of attacing i was doing i would take samples of each person i attacked/level etc and found it totally random. As you mentioned i get anywhere from 30RP per 10 clicks to 70RP. The level of person i attacked made no difference to the sample spread. What are you saving your RP for anyway ;)

Little bit off topic but when the sig event was going on, someone said the rp range was 1-9 per attack without a sig & 2-10 with a sig but never have I got over 8rp with a sig.
Is the rp range for pvp 1-7 for none sig users & 2-8 for sig users.

I honestly don't have a clue what I'm saving it for. Saving it for "anything can happen" I guess!

I think that "range" idea may have been slightly flawed. I could be wrong, but I got the impression that the RP from PvP is the same for everyone, but players with a Sig get +1 added directly to the RP bank. Supposedly you don't see it on the fight screen, but like I said, I could be wrong. I don't have a Sig.

I have seen as high as 12 or 13 RP from a single attack on a rival though. Very rarely does that ever happen.

I've been doing this for a long time. I started because it was the only way I could get the game to NOT crash. At one pont, it would crash every time I pressed rob or fight again. I got around that by just attacking in their hood. The crashing problem has been fixed for months but I just kept doing it the same way. I like seeing all the money, RP and loot sitting on the ground and picking it all up at once too.

Not same if you own a sig compared to without a sig as I never get 1rp on a fight regardless how many fight I have, the minium is 2rp per fight but since I've owned a sig never got over 8 rp.

That must mean the ratio must be:

None Sig user 1-8
Sig user 2-8

Anyone confirm using a sig you can get 9rp or over on an attack.

I missed MOTD.

I don't have the Sig and I can consistently expect 1-10 RP/attack. Sometimes 11 or 12.

Crazy that you get max 8rp with a sig & more rp without, the only benefit of the sig is bar the stats is the minimum is 2rp in a fight.

the amount of RPs one gets depends on the level of the opponent. i have hit on pplayers from 130+ to lvl 200. the max rp for lvl 130-145 should be around 8 or 9. lvl 146-170 should be 10. lvl 171-200 appx 11. i dont have the sig so this is based on what i observed

Here's what I do: I look at stats and attack 3 times. If no 7, 8, 9 rp show up I take a walk and sharpen my pencil (oops I mean my mind). I then come back and hit for 9, 9, 9 in honor of Herman Cain. Key is no greedy. Very important here I base my information on actual stats and the rest of you base it on the land of make believe.

That sounds plausible. I could have sworn I hit 10+RP a few times before I could see level 130 though. Maybe not.

I look for how many m4s they have in their inventory:

1 - 99 = 6 rp
100 - 199 = 7 rp
200 - 299 = 8 rp
300 - 399 = 9 rp
400 - 499 = 10 rp

Just texted Kung and he confirms.

I have to disagree with you on this one. The amount of RP from my experience had nothing to do with the level of person i was attacking. The MAX RP i receive is 12 (i have the SIG) and i can get this from any fight from lvl 142 opponents right up to 200.

My RP tier though appears to increase with MY level progression. The higher lvl i am the more RP i will receive REGARDLESS of opponents levels.

This sounds more similar to what I have observed. Also, I can get 12RP in one fight without the Sig, so the +1 for you Sig owners must be added right to the RP bank.

Dudeman its not automatically added to the RP bank, what is shown on the fight is what we receive. The lowest that shows is 2 and the highest for me right now is 12 (from what i have seen and thats alot recently)

Holy crap, I just got 81 RP attacking a rival only 8 times. This seems unusually high. 10RP seven times and once 11RP. I'm not complaining, but I wonder if this trend will continue. Part of me obviously hopes so, but the smarter part knows to not expect it.
