As soon as anyone gets one, could you let us know whether the new desalination plant requires an all water site or part water part land? Also, any thoughts on the usefulness on the new defensive building?

Looks like it will take a large space for the defense building. Possibly larger than the holding cell.

The water building is pretty small. Got one under construction now. I was afraid it was going to be part land / part water - but thankfully it was all water and i had some open sea available.

Hopefully they are working on a sea defense building. Going to need it even more with 4 water money buildings.

I can see the new buildings on my iPhone but not the iPad????

You might have to exit the game and come back in. You will get a one-time Splash screen saying New Buildings and a new Area called Central America (maybe South America, Latin America, or some other place south of the equator).

Then you can find the new water building under your Money buildings tab.

Try opening and closing the apps a few times. If that don't work try a system rebot.

I still need two water expansions for those. I have two gold buildings, the two new buildings, and the two nano buildings that are locked and I will have every money building. =)

I am in the process of doing that EVERYDAY.

With a new event around the corner I have to prepare and hopefully they don't make it 4 days for modern war like they did with crime city that means no sleep groan

I have to rotate from money to unit buildings since they are way cheaper. When I run out of money to upgrade money buildings, I switch to a unit building and save money during those few days then go upgrade a money building again. They are getting super expensive, and now I can't even afford the expansion that is going to complete tomorrow. It cost like 8.5 mil so this one will be like 9-10 million.

Okay, so I want to make sure I got this right. The new $ building has to be built in ALL water, or can it be partial land/water? I'm about to expand again and I have to be strategic. I literally just completed a land expansion that cost me $1.9M, and I need two more expansions to purchase this building.

Also, is anyone buying the new defense building? I thought I read somewhere that defense buildings are basically worthless. I have quite a few already but did so before I started reading the forum..
