All PvE to start. You can only get them from PVP if the person has a box to steal. They are extremely rare for PVP at the beginning of events, but you get 4 out of 10 on attacks towards the end, once people have a bunch. Focus on map jobs, especially if you can farm at the same time.

I usually will hit up the shooting gallery at the start of events until I get a single box and a few bonus M4A1s (now rusted:(). That's just my strategy and I thought I would share it. Good luck all.

Probably the best way Funzio would've wanted. I bought energy, stamina, reset timers and 100% chance every time. I sincerely wanted it. I am happy, I spent way to much. Yeah if your at 9 and have gold to spare. Use cash until the end of the event. If you don't close the game or let your phone lock when the event ends, It will stay at soon. And, you can keep opening boxes, that's the time to spend gold with resetting and 100% if you didn't start off that way.

Just got my 9th and one of those armor thingies. Actually very happy. Wasn't expecting to get to 9. I believe I ended with 9 in the first event, 8 in the second and 9 in the third. I just figured I wouldn't get to 9 since the extra prize was added. I figured the chances of getting 9 would be much lower this time around.

No gold at all. I spent a crazy amount of gold the first time around and still only got 9. I spent like 30-40 bars each of the last 2 events and this time I didn't have any gold to spend, but wasn't planning to spend any gold anyway.

I still have 14 hours to go and will hopefully be able to try maybe 10 more times. I'm not at all expecting to get my 10th, but I guess you never know. Seems to be all over the board...some people had like 20 successful opens between 9 and 10 and others got 9 and 10 almost back to back. We'll see, but I was very happy to get the 9th prize and won't be disappointed if I don't get the dice.
