Should I save up RP for one big spree or spend it as I get it? At the moment, I am in the top 5% of my mafia bracket and I haven't lost a fight for a month. I do lose the occasoonal robbery but that doesn't bother me too much. I'm level 64 now. My plan previously was to spend all my RP on NVB's as I won robberies and fights. I had never planned to save. What should I do? Keep buying NVB's one by one? Buy a different RP item one by one? Save up RP for a future spending spree?

Please advise.

I suggest setting goals and then buying once you have reached that goal. For example, save 7500 for 10 Chain Whips or 12,000 for 10 Exeleros (when you are eligible), etc... I always try and have enough RP to buy 10 of something because I enjoy watching my stats tick up a hundred or so. I like having everything in multiples of 10 so 1 by 1 would not be my thing.

Rhino, you have OCD :)

Santa, if you are already in a good place re winning fights, save your points and buy R items that will serve you well even at the higher levels. There are many threads on here discussing which items are best for top end. Search is your friend.

Bottom line, as long as you are still winning and don't need the stats now, saving them up will do you no harm. Who knows, Funzio may even release some new R items, and if you have a lot of points saved up, you will then be in a great position to benefit.

How many NVBs you have? If you're tough enough then save for better stock

I have approximately...18 NVB's.

I also have 5 Yamahas, 14 Tommy Guns, 2 Sawn-Offs, 36 Mustangs, 2 Chain Whips, and 8 Combat Boots. But I haven't bought any of those for a while. It's been all NVB's.

100-150 NVBs didnt hurt nobody. Whips are always good *s&m again, yeah*
Yams, tommys, sawnoffs, boots - nononononono ;)
Mustangs?

All purchased before I discovered the forums... :)

It's been all NVB since. I think I will save. :)

It's a good idea to build up NVBs. They give the biggest stat/RP boost, whilst still remaining fairly competitive in the longer term. It is better value to go for CW and Exceleros as end game items rather than FCG, so the changes are that NVBs will be in your inventory for a long while.

Saying that, I've build up 100 NVBs, and don't plan to add any more yet, concentrating on saving for exceleros and Cws for the moment....

I should have read these boards earlier so I didn't waste my RP. I have 20 sawn offs, 22 serrated blades, 27 NVGs, and 36 race bikes at level 57 with 55 mafia. With 8300 RP currently I guess I just save for a rainy day. Meh.

Nothing wrong with those. Especially the sawn off now that the m4 is gone. No more bikes or blades though. They served their purpose when you needed them. Just be glad you didnt get a couple hundred like some people. No, not me.

What about those full body armor things I see coming in at level 70? Worth saving for?

You bet, RPG's, Chain Whips, Full Combat Gear, & Exceleros are all game changers that need to be procured.

I have 243 Yamaha Race Bikes.

My advice is not to do that.

Learn from other people's mistakes.

Hahahahaha! I feel bad for you.

I personally have around 120 Hammers. They were my first farming item that I started around level 12.

I would advise people not to do that either. :)

I would recommend getting them last after CW, RPG and Exelero. You can combo NVB, FBI Shields and Urban Vest and they will keep you going for a looooooong time.
