Green Dragonfire 1st - 310 /135
Whirling Thunder 2nd - 269 / 171
Sky Devil 3rd - 267 / 193

Flanker Jet - 156 / 84
Super Heavy Transporter - 150 / 253
Ghost SAS - 144 / 97

Super Stryker (x3) - 132 / 112
Anti-Terrorist Operative - 129 / 107
Ground Trembler (x2) - 128 / 117

Armed Infantry - 125 / 305
Tarawa Drop Ship - 110 / 290
And finally rounding out my top 4 rows (12th spot)
Fighting Irish (x4) - 92 / 65

Just showing those stats to drive home the point that a few gold items go a long long way for your stats - so you guys that think buying low level items just to get more units and keeping high allie counts is some how making you stronger - keep in mind that just those 18 units I listed have a total stat count of 2588/2397

The density on those 18 items is 144/133 (rounded)

I have another 26 slots filled with Gold Units out of my "top 45 shown" - so 38 of 45 slots are indestructible units.

Guess who has the best chance of beating me when I raid? The guy with 100 Sea Scouts and 100 ambulances!

That's all well and good as long as you have disposable income to collect the high powered units. With 2 young kids I got no chance of buying a limited edition without getting the added bonus of a verbal smackdown from Mrs Bronson and a 2 week ticket of sleeping on the couch lol

But this is War there are no rules so I have to work a lot harder to get my stats up to scratch which I find fun anyway, just need to make sure cash vaulted and collected pronto.

Shhhhh in case she hears me typing this but might buy a sneaky crate soon lol

I havent- and the amount of gold they want for the unit is outrageous! Like I mentioned before... Purchasing any more gold is no longer an option and budget. I did have enough gold in the vault for an Icebreaker.

I soooo want this unit, but it's pretty steep in price. I promised myself that after these last two events I was not going to buy any more gold, at least not for a long while. If free players can build up their defenses and stack $$ and units, then so can I. I've got some great units and hopefully will obtain more with the gold I still have, but 895 is a lot..
