Hi guys,

Thanks to Tramp and Nicholost I was able to fill out the estimated building upgrade costs for all buildings. I say "estimated" because there's a strange rounding algorithm being used which I've yet to fully figure out.

I put the data up in a new spreadsheet, similar to the one I use myself. If you make a copy and fill out your base's details, the sheet will help you calculate the best purchase/upgrade option available to you.

Please check out the Readme tab for more info on how to best use the spreadsheet.

Enjoy.

Happy days! Only yesterday I was hijacking a thread to ask a question about this. Will be on the pc tonight to get a copy.

Just a quick correction.. The "Estimated Upgrade Cost" column had a formula such that when you sort the sheet by anything other than "Building Name, Building Level", the numbers don't align correctly.

I've fixed this problem in the main sheet, now the column is just using the values instead of formulas. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

hi itz,

That's a great spreadsheet. A couple of comments:

1) the output column of oil refinery lvl 4 and 5 are wrong. Can you check your data source?
2) In the "my base" sheet, it would be easier if user only needs to enter the lvl info. You can pre-populate all money buildings, two for each type of building, and use level 0 to indicate the building is not in base.
3) In the "README" sheet, a "new" user would probably do step 4 first to see the next upgrade/purchase, and then do step 3 to optimize. IOW, swap step 3 & 4.

Thanks,
EZ

I may be a little tired but I cannot for the life of me figure out what ROI means on the spreadsheet, please let me know, I am a newbee to this game so would like to know why and how sorting the spreadsheet a-z or z-a will help??

I probably sound very silly asking this but hey.. If you dont know, ask :D

Many Thanks

Carl

Carl: ROI means Return On Investment

Itz, this is a great sheet! So far I just ran into an issue with the output figures of the Nanotech Factory. Only level 1 and 2 are correct, after that I believe it is :

$700.000
$1.100.000
$1.600.000
$2.200.000
$2.900.000
$3.700.000
$4.600.000
$6.000.000

Also it says 6 clicks per day. this should be 2

any intention of adding gold buildings too?

Something funny with the Oil ref too: lvl 5 is 14.800.000 output in the sheet.

Should be
$100.000
$200.000
$350.000
$550.000
$800.000
$1.100.000
$1.450.000
$1.850.000
$2.300.000
$3.000.000

Chiez, sent you a PM regarding this. I'll be posting some information soon, that should answer this type of question. I don't want to Necro a old thread, but be on the lookout.

Any questions drop me a PM.

Itz doesn't check the forums much anymore if you're looking for something from him. Better to get him in-game.

Also, note that MW doesn't have the same transparency into building costs and upgrade times as CC (hence why some stuff is estimated {wrong}).

The Desalination Plant output is wrong too. Can somebody contribute the right output?

It says:

$21,000
$10,000
$17,500
$27,500
$40,000
$55,000
$72,500
$92,500
$115,000
$150,000

I think it should be:

Desalination Plant 1 $21,000
Desalination Plant 2 $42,000
Desalination Plant 3 $73,500
Desalination Plant 4 $115,500
Desalination Plant 5 $168,000
Desalination Plant 6 $231,000
Desalination Plant 7 $304,500
Desalination Plant 8 $388,500
Desalination Plant 9 $483,000
Desalination Plant 10 $630,000

Are you gonna add the gold buildings to the spread sheet? I found a different list with gold values on it and just calculated which gold buildings would be more profitable but it would be nice to have them incorporated into your spreadsheet as well...

Thanks for the spreadsheet too. Saves time when tryna earn the biggest dollar!!!
