It is a complex formula that FNG's cannot decipher without the help of the FNG guide.

I am talking about the blue numbers on my game profile. Not when I attack someone. I do the missions in folder and on is to build you alliance score to...xx numbers

Step 1: go back up to JohnnyR's post
Step 2: look for the green text that says FNG Guide
Step 3: click on the white letters that link you to the FNG guide
Step 4: follow JohhnyR's directions about scrolling down to the section on "the numbers"
Step 5: lightbulb!

For 1 you have way more units then you can actually use.. 1,112 units is what your bringing into battle.. With 278 allies. You bring 4 extra units per ally.

Well dammit why buy a bunch different units? They should fix that.

At lv27 you can only use 135 allies,multiplied x 4 units=540 units

I believe they tell you that when you first start playing about the allies.. But I may be mistaken. But it's very good info to know and remember so you don't waste / use all your cash on units you can't use right now. For future reference start buying units with higher stats and yull see your A and D scores go up a bit unless your capped out with what units your able to buy at the moment. If I confuse you any don't stress out just ask what is confuseing you. I'm not the best with words ;)

I also highly suggest you read through the FNG guide on the forum for really good insight and info.

Glad you pointed that one out too. I wasn't thinking about that one lol

This is the correct math.

It's good to have a lot of "extra" units so that when you lose them in battle, your stats don't go down, the next one in line replaces the dead unit. However, there IS such a thing as overkill....

For what it's worth, until reachng higher levels (55+) I'd go for getting the cheapest units that will raise your stats. I think it's more profitable to go in with quantity over quality.

Consider 280,000 spent in two ways:

8,000 for 35 Hum-Vees (3 attack, 3 defense) gives 105/105 a/d score.
35,000 for 8 Bradley Fighting Vehicles (7 attack, 7 defense) gives a paltry 56/56 a/d score.

Both are medium casualty rate units

I think in lower levels it's easier getting away with low quality units, higher up the limtations on numbers of units becomes more problematc as every slot has to contribute in order to reach the top of the pecking order, and in order to find rivals to raid or attack. In the lower levels it's easier to replace these cheap units, especially with the economy not fully matured. Replacing higher cost units takes a toll on economy and simply doesn't return as well as the cheaper units. I think the game was quite well thought out in this area.

Yo bro - not sure how much of the FNG guide you have digested - and by the way - its all in fun that we poke jest at the FNG's as we're were ALL FNG's at one point - but remember - you bring a whole different set of units with you to attack than you do when you are defending - so having more units that you "need" is to a bad thing. What you DO NEED is a good collection of units with High Attack stats - AND - a good collection of high defense units.

You'll totally get it when you check out the guide.

Happy Hunting

Well that's the thing, when I get attacked or I attack/ raid, I lose snipers and medics. Also expensive planes. Why don't they take the cheaper units? that's why I originally bought the cheap units.
