PVP

I see people on my level with strong pvp items such as wrestlers mask, bloody ak, m14 sniper rifle, etc. Yet when I win a pvp item it is something bad like a colt 45 or some other crap weapon that I can't use because its stats are so low. How do I get a good pvp item? Is it completely random and I'm just unlucky?

I hear ya, I had a long road to get where I am now. I still get the crap kicked out of me. lol
