Why not just have funzio reduce the TL requirement to peeps with only 400 mob? Reckon it would be very rare to have people willing to take that big a hit on points for the sake of a few hits.

This would put more fish in the pond and hopefully will reduce the amount of peeps dropping to 499 to avoid getting hit every now and again.

More fish in the pond will have more peeps spreading the hits, not having the few staunch ones taking the majority thinking that life at 499 is a better world and heading that way themselves.

Cheers and beers.

Wouldn't they just drop to 399 then? Maybe not, I don't really know.

Why not make it so that you can't receive the quests until you have 500 mafia and have maintained 500 mafia for a set amount of time, like 24 hrs? Maybe it's already like this and I'm just not aware of it. I don't know much about these quests yet.

A drop to 399 would be roughly sacrificing 1/5 of attack/defense points.... The trade off may make some people reconsider about: not getting hit as much vs being weak and getting robbed.

Being 500 to attack 500s is pretty reasonable, me thinks. Madam Fizzle, you're on to this?

We could all make a pact. We swear to maintain 500 ourselves and only to attack ourselves.
It could easily turn into a socialistic group of players. Lol

Don't know about all of you, but the pool of 500+ is so small it seems I attack the same people over and over again. To top it off I get attacked 80+ times daily and probably 90% is 499 mob and under, I often will spend 40 stamina going back to the droves of 499 that attacked me (and also posting to mob up to 500)

Really, no wonder there is so much anamosity toward the 499ers... THAT is the chickensh!t part: 499ers doing TL goals.

Aid, when I had 500 & got attacked by a 499er, I would do the same: attack them back over & over, most were HLs so they counted towards HH goals anyway. I wouldn't post on their walls to mob-up, but many had before me.

Keep posting everyone & maybe Funzio will hear. :)

I'm not even close to your guy's levels and I still think this is a bad design. 499's are people who are too scared to get attacked by 500's, correct?

In the goal description window for Thug Life goals there is a comment that states "We're not afraid of anybody, I don't care how big their crew is. It's time to prove that to the world."

499ers are undeniably afraid. Period.

And if "we don't care how big their crew is", why does the goal limit us to only rivals with a 500 mob?

The 500RP for completing Thug Life goals is great, but the goal needs some tweaking.

Big time!

Ever notice in the walls of players people say things like "Add my mafia I have 5000 members".
Yet all everyone seems to find is less than 500?

Just a odd thing I thought of.

I actually find getting hit more often is a positive thing since.

You get to beat up and are no longer on the rivals lists, so in many cases your buildings don’t get touch since a lot of people like me don’t bother with going to peoples hoods and just attack from the rivals screen. This happened to me in the weekend I forgot about my L2 palm hotel and 8 hours latter it was still un touched even though I had been attacked 50 times over the 8 hours. Also being attacked regularly means you can work out your safe windows if you have high cash transactions to do and don’t want to risk getting hit and losing up to 300k and even worse panicking and re banking losing more than the 300k in deposit fees (not an issue now for those with the burner)

With 499ers being the new M4s on the forum I am quite happy to finish the current TLG set before hitting lvl 100.

Still I agree it is bad design. And still it will affect me once they introduce new rounds.

Beat up people do show up on rivals screens. Not a lot, but they do. I have gone to many hoods where the person is too beat up to fight.

How many 499ers would dropp to 399 to preserve explosives and win ratio? Can't imagine it would be that many that would take that big a hit in stats in lieu of a few hits. Simple change with a big effect.

I used to think this too but been testing lately and am almost 100% once a person is too beat up they no longer show. Generally find if they are too beat up it is because they have been attacked since you last hit refresh. To test it hit refresh and instantly attack someone it is very very rare you will get the "oponent is too beat up message"

Likewise if you don't refresh for a few hours and try to attack pretty much every person apart from the big gold spenders will be too beat up

Max is right, being "too beat up to fight" does NOT keep you off of the rivals list, only keeps you from being attacked.

Like I said I thought the same but testing has proved otherwise, unless you can provide evidence then yes being too beat up does keep you off the rival screen. As stated test it yourself hit refresh and attack someone instantly it is very very rare you will get the "oponent is too beat up message" now if you don't refresh often it is quite possible you will since they could have been attacked since your last refresh

You still show up in the rivals list if you have cash on hand or buildings ready to be collected/robbed. Possibly also if you recently collected buildings, although that could be the same as having cash on hand.

Point is, being too beat up doesn't take you off the list because beating you up isn't the only option!

Just tested it another way beat up 9 people till the message came up, all had buildings that could be robbed. Then refreshed 20 times, in 20 times not one of the 9 people showed up. The odds of all nine just randomly not appearing in 20 refreshes is incredibly low.

As stated unless you are going to provide evidence of how you have tested and proved they appear you are assuming and in this case are wrong.
