Another limited event eh? DO you really care?

Given all the problems and issues w/ previous games; just wanted to know what people think about this latest one.

Meh I can always hit 7+ diamond/emerald so I do it for the free loot and I just make a note that I will not get 10 its like looking at a super model knowing you can never get it, but there's no reason not to try :P

The last one had the Emerald Burner, free banking, worth its weight in Gold so spent Gold. This one is worth far less to me so will spend in game cash to open bags but thats all I need to do.

I think you are missing the bigger picture.

The loot dropped for this event is good. Lets look at the pimp lowrider, to buy something equivalent will cost you around $12 million. For me I am using the cash option only, have dropped a lowrider,3 skull shotguns, a fish gutter, $125k in cash and also 5 contrabands. Paid around $350k in cash. For me I am over the moon with the results.
The car alone is worth it.
The drops for me are much better than the last event and even if you do not spend any gold you should/will get value for in game money.
Why are we all so negative about this event!!!

Fair point, my loot drops have been poor though, just cash mostly.

Don't get me wrong I am enjoying the event but not so fussed about getting the 10, and won’t use RM like the last two.

Agreed. Once you get past spending gold and the end result. As long as you get a few decent drops even the Skull shotgun for me is good as this is a rare PvP item. Getting the car alone is worth the money I am using to open to the boss bags, again another rare PvP drop.
Think everyone is expecting to get the final item without spending gold whereas they should look at what they are getting without spending gold.

I have gotten 3 items from the boss bags, 2 Federal Kevlar Vest 4/15 and 1 hunting knife 8/4
That's good for me and I have 5 contrband too

Sorry to hear that. Not sure what lvl you are on or what equipment you have but do the pimp low riders not show up in the list of what you have attacked someone with? Have you farmed the DD?
For me based on the cost of buying a similar stat vehicle the pimp low rider is still worth the cash investment, and would think the same for the gold buyers.

ha ha, yeah I feel the same. I got to 9 diamonds and 8 emeralds. Nice getting 3 above average weapons as a consolation prize.

I have 230 DDs, 68 Exceleros, 20 Mob Escorts, 10 Modified street racers, 145 Yamahas, 158 Armored Police Vans, and 15 Pimps from PvP, so no, the ad isn't that great for me. All the weapons from these events, other than the ones you get at 3-5-7-10 Emeralds or whatever are in the drawer with about 8000 butterfly knives.

These events are just a simple gold grab and I am not falling for it anymore. I spent 3000 gold on the last one and never got past 8 emeralds.

Oh man, the loot from these events is pretty c@#$ for you then!
I spent 14g on the last event and got 7 emerald and some nice RP, Cash etc. You spent how much!!!
I do agree with you but think this event was brought out to subdue the masses. It came out a little quick for my liking. I suspect the final goal will be achievable by most non goal spenders, keeps people happy but the overall loot is/will be better than the last event. Also keep people happy.

It is funny how transparent these events are now. This latest event, day 2, I've gotten 7 contrabands already. It took me until day 4 last time. Let's see if i can get to 10 soon. I'm definitely done wasting gold here.

Dang I certainly won't be spending any real money like the last two times where I have spent over $300 combined. Funzio ain't getting any of my money out of me on this event or ever again. Lucky for me I have woken up to what a scam it is. Once bitten twice shy. I will be spending my money on RL beer and skittles and other discretionery items from businesses who actually deserve it. I have spent well over $1,000 on this game and have the cash to spend more but won't. For the first time this weekend I didn't buy any gold this last sale just to make a point cos I am still dark on Funzio for the last scam of an event. I am glad I didn't get the Burner because it woke me up to how stupid it is to spend money on what is actually gambling for no real return. Still, I can whinge and whine about it here, let it be a warning for other players, but then again for everyone like me there are 10 other suckers who will spend big for their pretty pixels.

i made the mistake of spending money on these events in the past fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. but will not spend any money on this event or future events, i will just play it for enjoyment and see how my luck turns out that is all

Ironically the other loot like cash and respect make the event somewhat desirable to play. Otherwise I'd be in the don't care anymore category. Still I am surprised by the number of folks still willing to spend real $$ on these events. No wonder Funzio will keep doing them

I DO really care. Atlest about the first 3 items that I usually get. I would care about The Pathmaker, if I thought I had a chance at getting it.
