The worst I have ever done is spent monthly for online game memberships or Xbox Live. And its only $5 a month for Xbox Live. This game is quite expensive compared to most.

Yeah no **** I bought 49.99 yesterday before the damn deal! So I succumb to temptation and bought the 79.99 today. I dunno that's a lot for me any way I'm no payam that's for sure. Raised stats quite a bit. I have all high paying gold buildings except palms but there like 30 levels away! So I went with crates!

I feel cheap. I have now gone further, completely sold out on my whole gameplan, and bought 2 x Rock Cafes.

Honestly, it was my intention to go as far as possible through the game without going for Gold.

I have no self-respect. I might as well be trading hand relief for $5 bags of crack.

But damn those Rock Cafes really do put your hourly stats through the roof, particularly mine, as I've never focused on economy.

I don't look at it as a bad thing... I pay thousands of dollars a year to watch a bunch of guys strap blades to their feet and slap a piece of rubber around with a wooden stick and get paid millions for doing so.

So, why not pay for a game I do enjoy, that is, when they're not nerfing it! (sorry had to get my jab in)

I figure, if people didn't buy Gold this game would either be one of two things:

1. It wouldn't exhist. No company in the entertainment bussiness exhists to provide it for free. That's not exactly a successful business model.

or the other option

2. The game would be dripping with in-game Ads. You know, the ones that always pop up at the worst possible moment, which usual results in you tapping it by accident and taking you out of game. I've played a few games like that. Every 10 secs I have an Ad slapping me in the face.

In short, people who grow strong through purchasing Gold may not be the most enjoyable people to fight against, but it's because of them that the non-Gold buying users have a free game which is Ad-Free.

At this point since I am already invested in gold as well so all gold buyers have a vested interest in the long term survival of the game or else our investment goes right into the garbage. I enjoy looking at this game in terms of roi just like I do on my investment portfolio. This is more an enjoyment roi compared to true roi on cash. If function doesn't turnsole kind of profit then we as the players are in trouble. Keep buying some portion of gold...
