View Full Version : Possible glitch while completing Thug life 40?

I have already reported this to support but wondering if anyone else has ran into this?

While completing thug life 40, I was 15 of 16 wins. I was attacking a guy (and had been attacking him) then on 16th fight it said I lost (and took a hit of $30k). His defense was 7k, my attack was almost 9k (real def/attack). I'm not going to ask why I lost... :(. But then I look at my thug life counter and I'm still at 15/16 wins. So I attacked the guy again (thinking I would win this time and get some of my cash back). I lost again to the tune of $30k again and some explosives. I look at thug life counter again in goals list and it was still 15/16 wins. I look at guys profile and it doesn't show he is now carrying my 60k?

Anyway good luck and if I shouldn't have lost can I have my $60k back? If I should have lost then do what you must!

Thanks,

Maybe he banked it? It's now his 60K so he can do with it way he wants.

The profile wont update until you leave his hood and go back again.

And thug life wins aren't consequetive like winning string and championship goals.

This.

And this.

The only bug I see, if any, is that a rival's stats window is static. I suspect the static window is not a bug, but a limitation. To make the stats update real-time, a server call would need to be made after each attack.

Happend to me alot when in lower levels, I always bank my money when going to a fight for that exact reason.

Ok, I'll say it.... The only glitch is that you were dumb enough to lose $30000 TWICE!!

Why didn't you think about maybe just maybe banking it at least after the 2nd attempt?
Not calling you names, just curious on your thought process.

I can take that. Truth is in my past history I haven't lost to a rival with 1k def difference to my attack. Especially not 2x in a row. It stung a little yes, but overall I'm still learning. Oh well!

Admitting it is the first step to recovery. :P

If you do it again, we all want to hear about it! Always bank or spend it. You have to be about 30% better Attack than your opponents defense to be "guaranteed" success on attacks. I almost always check A&D and factor in defense buildings (which I subtract from their defense) before I hit as much as I can.

Then I can also admit that posting anything about a glitch by a person who knows very little about the game would be the second OOPS! :)

You're a good sport! We've all done dumb things in the game (and in real life). Cheers.

But Plux advice totally ignored. Try learn harder. Maybe then you become man. Until then no girls for you. Sorry pal.

Negative. Get your stats in good enough shape so you can never bank. http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h257/nicklepics/nothing%20of%20use/Emoticons/thumbsup.gif

I don't even look at defense when I attack/rob, only their attack. If their attack is 50% of my actual defense, I attack/rob until I lose interest. Otherwise, I move on. That's a super conservative approach, but it ensures I can no-bank and not lose sleep.
