Do you get xp is someone attacks you?

If someone attacks you head on and loses do you gain any xp out of it ?
I have a level 8 character that seems to be leveling by himself without doing any missions or goals.

I'm thinking you get 1 experience point if you win when you are attacked.

I did not realize that you did. It must be quite minute because I have people attacking me and losing regularily and I havent noticed.

This could kill a camper like duder if he got mass attacked. He would win every single fight but would level up a lot.

I'm only level 63 and it takes approximately 3000 exp to level up. No one is going to get a substantial amount of exp from this. Not enough to level multiple times anyways.

Edit: If you were getting the full amount of experience, then I would be worried about it.
