No i wont ask a question but i want to say something even im mad at Funzio because of M4a1 decision and finishing Pve in the game, the thing u do right now is rlly a good thing.i mean answering many questions and sparing time for the players.i want to thank you for this thing and you deserve respect.But pls dont forget the games pve is nearly finished with the M4a1 decision so pls spare time for the games future too.Thank you again.

I would first like to say thank you CCMark.

1) any thoughts to allowing gangs to truly form within the game? Perhaps some sort of combining of stats? Perhaps limited to x players? I figure it would balance to higher risk reward? Cash or RP for successful attacks/robberies but potential loss of items set at random for lost attacks??

I can think of a couple of battles at the high levels that could reach epic proportions...

1) It's region limited. They'd have to be in the regions that it's out for.
2) It's not offered as an option for any player except in extreme circumstances like their game becoming completely unplayable.
3) Pass means pass.

Hope this is within bounds, as it is meant as an honest question...

Do developers have as a goal to provide elements of the game that can make it possible for non-gold buyers to be somewhat competitive into high levels of Crime City (through mining of Respect, or building economy to purchase equipment, etc), or is it assumed that only gold buyers should be competitive beyond a certain level?

Yes, anyone should be competitive. Non-spenders just have to work harder. Gold is a substitute for time.

First off loving the thread

1. is there any thought or idea of possibly "balancing" gold buildings? since beginning gold buildings (cash buildings as well for that matter) barely compare to higher gold buildings that cost much less.

2. What is the chance that a buff to cash equipment could be buffed to help us who didn't realize how amazing rp equipment was in this game?

3.do you think that eventually there will be option to restart the game at level one? with/without your gold?

4. I absolutely love the new building you updated last time, What about adding more buildings to the game? also do you think in the future you will add buildings that do more then just bring in profit or add defense bonuses? Like for example coffee shops for energy and adding maybe a couple rp buildings?

5. Now that I started my first job I have a little to spend on your game is there anything you could say that would make me feel confident in investing into your game any further? Im sure im not the only one who is still questioning putting any more money into the game after these last couple changes to the game.

1:We all (those that are on forum) know that defense buildings don't perform like what we originally thought they would. You probably "can't say", but how about they are 100% efficient when someone attacks you (in your hood) and 0% when you attack someone (in their hood)?

2:Heads or tails?

1) Can't say.
2) Tails, that's the most common option with a quarter.

Another thing that I know will get a no comment from Mark but has been bothering me forever is the effect of skill points on the game. Players need to know the effects of adding points into attack and defense. We need to quantify the skill points to know if it’s worth investing in attack and defense or if we should be spending it on stamina and energy. Let me try to phrase the question in a manner that will allow a little bit of insight from Mark:

Mark, has this issue ever been brought up by your team and discussed at length?

Has the issue of discussing skill points with the player base come up and been discussed? Well, I wouldn't call it an issue, but yes we have discussed discussing skill points with the players.

It's something we've given thought to. We want to add ways for players to really feel like part of a community in the game.

If that genuinely summarises the Funzio philosophy, then we really haven't got very much to worry about.

I thought the same for a while, especially noting that just about every time I spent money on Gold, it was due to my impatience.

While that sounds great, no amount of time will get you all those gold weapons, and gold buyers have access to many more buildings than non-buyers do, so I think that statement is only partially true.

This makes me feel better. It is possible to be competitive with gold spenders! We just have to have more patience. Thanks Mark!

If you guys approve of farming then how about this... How about at you guys add a new area on that map at the last level that's like a top secret military base that doesn't add to the story but its made purely for farming like you could have a storage unit that you get different vehicles and tanks, docks that gave warship and even a ammunition and weapons factory for that had different high level guns, and armory for melee and armor!
since recent nerfs all I do is camp since there is no reason to max out having to face people that farmed op weapons before they were changed.
Adding this would give me not only a reason to continue leveling and playing the game but would also give me a reason to invest skill points into energy and it would give me a reason to wanna max out since once I max out there really is no reason to continue to play the game once you have maxed.

also with the hefty buy in price like the dds had. say 20m-100m higher price tag to enforce building a strong economy since right the only use for money is expanding, upgrading and buying more buildings, and I believe more people would buy gold buildings to help speed up saving for such a high price tags.

Everyone wins! funzio would see a increase in gold sales, we would get would get are farming back, players who are not on these forums would still be able to take part in farming, It would recreate the balance between non gold spenders if they rivaled m4a1/dd bus stats while still not taking away months of hard work

mark what do you think of my idea? I just want a opinion of if it is a good idea or not and how it would affect the game in your view I am NOT asking if you will implement it or not JUST your opinion (in other words I want more then "can't say" or "anything could happen")

In my opinion it's not a good idea. I'd rather people went to different zones based on what they're looking for and actually have to make choices as opposed to one zone that's essentially a loot pinata.

I would like CCM to elaborate how he has come to the equation that 'gold is a substitue for time'
On the higher levels, it is virtually impossible to compete without spending gold. I dont have mind as it's clear non gold players are krill to the gold spending whales but to paint it like there's some some of level playing filed (as long as we are patient!) just doesnt equate.

Because I know the average amount of gold items per spender. Most spenders don't have 500 gold guns, 500 gold melee weapons, 500 gold vehicles, etc.

The current Store section has 6 options (special, money buildings, defense buildings, decorations, expansion and equipment) and seems incomplete and missing two options.

May I suggest a Black Market option which allows you to trade items in your inventory with people in your mob and/or set a dollar value for purchase. This will make your mob a more cohesive community as you will be actively engaging with others in your group.

Also, a Research/Development or Mod button that allows customization of items or improvement of stats of single items. This will not be a guarantee and potentially will render an item in your inventory useless or make it better. For instance adding nails to a baseball bat can improve the attack score or potentially split the bat in half. Alternatively adding flame thrower to any car improve attack or defense scores but also can blow up or set fire to the vehicle.

Perhaps another option of introducing drug cartels or manufacturing and selling of narcotics, liquor, smuggling weapons, etc. Maybe introducing other options to earn respect if you have a large trafficking operation.

These suggestions can add an extra dimension to gameplay beyond pvp, pve etc.

It varies a ton by level, the further you get the less people are strictly following the storyline. Level 2, 99% are following, level 25, maybe 95%...all the way down to probably less than 10% by level 200 i'd guess. Around level 120, i'd say its probably around 50/50.

CCM could you elaborate about the discrepancy in regards to gold prices for US and Australian players. The current price for 1500gold is AUS $109.99 and US $99.99??? The AUS dollar has been above parity for a substantial amount of time and at the very least should be on par with US users. On current prices it should be $96.99. I feel ripped off having to pay $13 more for a reason unbeknown to me.
