Personally, I found this event to be a huge success. I never expected to open 10 emeralds, nor did I use any gold to attempt to do so. My goal was 5 emeralds and I hit that rather quickly. I'm stoked by the fact I got 7. To replace either of those free items in my inventory would require the purchase of gold items, so just by participating, I essentially got some fee gold items. That's pretty rad.

* I was half-awake when I opened this one, so it may have been $25,000 instead of $125,000.

Basically, I got 9 good vehicles (I'm short 26 for my mafia size), 2 great gold-equivalent weapons, 3000 RP, and $300,000 for free. That's all in addition to the loot, RP, and money I was bringing in anyway. I check CC about every 1.5 hrs, so I changed nothing to participate; I just showed up.

I just started playing it 3 days ago due to not updating my game or caring.

I am glad to see a positive post about it though. Not so much into the masses
complaining 24/7 about the poor returns on their "investments" :p

I didn't get past 8, and this event I used gold where I didn't use gold in the previous event. I had 10 diamonds there. Don't know what has happened with the odds of finding an emerald, but I bet the next event will be even harder than this one..

No gold up to 5 emeralds, but was on 5 for so long, bought some. Eventually used 375 gold only on box opening, no timer reset.
But I didn't use any gold on the previous lock box event and got 10 diamonds, so didn't mind spending a little on this one.

Overall, I would have liked to have got the super prize of free banking and emerald burner, but I am happy with what I got. Whether I would spend gold again, not sure, it depends on what the stats for the wall safe event end up being in terms of how many actually made it to 10 emeralds. I limited myself to a certain spend, but I do feel for those that spent a lot of gold and didn't get the top prize.

The only problem is that you only made 300k if you were level 0 you big fibber ;)
