Dunno about you guys but Im quite tempted to stock up on the CRBN suit which is available for a limited time. For 50 gold and stats of 8 atk and 53 def it's really tempting. Thoughts?

Wouldnt you go for items that are good for both attack and defense? Rather then getting 2 kinds of items :)

I wouldn't consider that item for any cost over 25 gold. 8/53? Might as well be 0/53.

i was thinking from a defence point of view

I expect more gold items with lopsided A/D. I'm personally reserving my last 1000g for buildings. No more rebuys afterwards.

I think lopsided items are probably actually better in the long run. Interesting.

The max you can get with that armour ( assuming you bought 500) is around 25000 defense, you should go for that ballistic armour which offers 150 defense ( 500mafia all kitted out 75000 defense)

I very much agree with this. I would rather own and pay for two items that are imposingly strong, than have one item with the same total stats of either and is a 50/50 split.

I would spend gold on offence if I were you.

There will always be someone who is stronger than you and then what good does your defence do?

+1 Joeycool

Steal more from others than they steal from you. And I do not mean the same individuals. Target rivals who are richer and weaker than you. It works.

I can see the logic in that, but I've always looked at it from the other angle. I would rather solidify a strong defense first. You can always choose who you want to attack, but you can't pick which stronger players attack you (and the higher the defense you have, the smaller the % of those who can successfully do so).

I agree with Synergy. I also think as long as you can afford it, go for it! Either way is fine but, I like to protect my butt before I got out looking for butt. :p

VERY SENSIBLE.......... Always insist on wearing protection if you are into that sort of thing...........................

This is true... but people with way lower attack than your defence are able to rob you still. So you have to have a ridiculously high defence to prevent this.

Why not put your effort into a ridiculously high attack instead?

The best form of defence is to collect your buildings on time. And that costs nothing! Synch synch synch! :)

oh yes... and you can also boost your defence with defence buildings. As long as you dont upgrade them too much.

By this guess I'm saying defence is easier to raise than attack. So I'd spend any gold on attack bias weapons.

There is also a famous saying that goes something like this:

"never give a baby booze"

oh no... hang on

"The best form of defence is attack"

For 50 gold you might as well test your luck and buy crates.

It's not a gamble though. It goes right to the stats. Crates however.... That's anybody's guess!

Crates are the best value gold items. Very good odds too. And the odds of getting each item are clearly stated before you buy them.

I love crates.

Crates are the new black!

i thought this was a known fact. when the guides explained that funzio automatically brings the BEST attack numbers into fights and defends with the BEST defense items, it seemed like this was implied. o well. but yes, like nicolost said. i agree as well. MW has a similar item which i bought as well right now
