My vote is for Allhaildiscordia. Not as active as he once was but he's still around. His job reward list/loot sheet has been invaluable to to me.

I'm talking in HS. I never got offers for a good 'ol pleasure party, but then again, I never voted for anyone, so no one ever bothered to offer their services. I feel I really missed out by not promising ***** ******** my vote for class prez. Dang it. Where were you back then, Burn?! Huh?! This information would have been a lot more valuable... 43 years ago.

'i need muney' should be in this list, I'd have voted for him, his economy spreadsheet was a more practically applicable guide than some of the other more indepth stuff, and has given me a very simple ABC method of economy development. His spreadsheet does not get the credit it deserves.

Slightly off topic, sorry...

I'm not a fan of this whole economy thing anyway, I think it has been a bit like the Emperors New Clothes.

How many forum users have bought into the whole Economy is King philosophy and made it the central part of their gameplay strategy? I'd guess quite a few.

But I think in game money is the least valuable resource there is. Why would you spend time generating the resource that gives the least tangible return?

For me, fight fight fight, get respect points, and hope that Funzio just keep topping up the Thug Life goals as we go.

I am building an economy, but I wouldn't dream of camping until I have squillions of monies.

In summary, I level up as fast as multiple fights will allow. This is a steady pace, as I do zero farming now, so not adding Exp in big chunks any more. The economy is simply growing at the same pace, I try to ensure that I always have something upgrading or being built (which is where 'i need muneys' spreadsheet comes in), but would not slow progress to wait for my economy to reach some predetermined goal.

I still try to retain the goal of enjoying the game, I have no desire to be one of the big hitters, because to do that would mean a huge injection of capital, but following a simplistic strategy like mine means maximum enjoyment, I still outrank most at my level (I can fight almost at will - about 15,000 fights with 150 losses), and only come across someone with stats that mean a fight should be avoided in 1 out of maybe 20 fights, so in the top 5% at my level, well that's good enough for me.

Im in a similar frame of mind as you burn. I see lots of people over analysing every thing in the game to get premium upgrade and sap every ounce of money they can in the best quickest most economical way. But somewhere along the way it feels like they are forgetting to have fun with the game.

I have never even really read Tram Stamps economy guide... I found it boring very quickly. But people do go in for that kind of thing so good for them.

Me... I take an educated guess over the best upgrade to build. I try to be constantly building land, a building, and an upgrade.

I try to do all the goals... even the ones that seem worthless.

And I fight and rob.

I certainly dont go putting all my inventory into a spread sheet and decide what to upgrade or build next from a guide that someone has written. I just have fun playing the game.

I agree with you to an extent over in game money... its the worst commodity. You cant actually buy anything with decent fight stats with it. Except explosives... but you need a monstrous amount amount to keep them stocked. Makes me wonder if the emerald burner is really such a great weapon after all.

But then... I do like building up my hood.
