I'm a level 2, so mine is $25k, just waiting for upgrades because I got a couple 100k's laying around waiting for time to pass lol.

...i would think they would ONLY if they roll out enough really high-end money buildings. seems the vault expansions have some correlation to the cost of the money buildings if you consider the median ppl's schedule for lvl'n thru the progression. the last set money bldgs introduced the 20mil. price tag on the nanotech factory, which mean you've got to leave 10mil un-protected for a period of time in order to get it.

I've been upgrading the vault non-stop since I started the game a little over a week ago. Got it up to 200k right now and still moving. I can't believe how big some of your vaults are, crazy. How long has this game been out? Seems like some of you have been playing for months.

6M for the space center, 1.2M for the 2 mine fields. I was at 11M. A round of collection from buildings, two hits of the rail gun brought me over the 19.2M that I need.

Been at 10 mil max for a long time. Even with everything in the vault 5-9 mil looks like a tempting target to many. I was even honest and posted on my wall that it is the max. People still try to hit me. They probably lose more than they gain and attacks are short.

Been at 10mil for a couple months now. They need to release one or two vault upgrades sometime soon. Upgrades for the more expensive buildings cost tens of millions already. Really dangerous to try and hold that much out for more than a day or two in the top levels, since there's no possible way to hide or to beat the big gold spenders.

For me, vault is maxed out. Base is pretty much maxed out as well. Most of the money has been spent on new buildings and upgrading. Pretty much upgrading all the time, and building as well.

Right now only have one more buiding I can get, which is the Space Center. Already have one built, but could use the second. Then using construction to build some defense units.

Soon enough though will be done with any possible construction, so planning on using it to max my boost buildings, composites factory and income buildings.

Extra cash will be used to build a stockpile of defense units for continued leveling up over time.

Whoever is responsible/permissioned to the Vault expansion spreadsheet needs to update it. there are two previous upgrades before reaching 50k.

lvl 1 = 5,000 = 0k cost = 0hr
lvl 2 = 10,000 = 5k cost = *3hr ( *I Think )
lvl 3 = 25,000 = 10k cost = *6hr ( *I Think )

or maybe it goes 6 hours, 12 hours. that would make more sense considering it takes 18hr next upgrade

Well, I ve been reading many of the posts about the vault and i can say that my vault is not there yet with 10m but I'm not so far now. However, some minutes ago when i was checking my rivals list one player got my attention as he/she was holding over 10m and had an def/6029 which was way below of the average of the level, so i thought myself that would be an easy money to get it but at the end after checking his base and his stat. i gave up about it.

Did i do right? I don't know, maybe i was a chicken...lol. He was a heavy gold player, with not much losses and i thought he could come with revange against me. The funny thing is that while i was thinking if I would attack or not I was myself attacked by another player who took some money that i couldn't protect as i was over the limit too. Moral of the stoy, next time don't think twice, just attack and see what happens...lol.

What is really going to be funny is the cost of adding buildings once finished with operation aqua. I can see it already; Steel Mill - $50,000(?) construction cost, $50,000,000 for the land, paying out $5,600 every 6 hours. lol.....atleast I got the water......

To be honest, It becomes a player strategy to see how he/she can get the remain amount. If the vault would be close to 20m would loose a bit of the fun. Personaly, i prefer the challenge and i know now that i can get it.

The easy was is as follows
Max out your vault to 10mill, sell 2 space centre for 6mill and you have enough for a Nanotech
You can either do that or sell 1 space centre and few other buildings and hit the railgun destroyer a few times.
Or you can do it the Rambo way and fight your way to 20mill

The nanotech isn't that tough. But forget about trying to upgrade it or trying to upgrade any of the more expensive money buildings more than a couple times. All of those upgrades are going to be costing tens of millions and some in the hundreds of millions.

Thats why i think they should add one or two vault upgrades sometime soon, and possibly put a level requirement on them or something, so that players that are lower level still have to risk a bit, but once they get higher up and need the 30mil+ ammounts, a little bit more of their cash is protected.

though I am not there yet, I have been hearing that an option would be to sell these two buildings for 6m each after the bank 10m saved. I am trying to remember the name of it but for the life of me can't... **** I'm sorry. Since you are lvl 75 the stats are much higher and you will find more gold-based players, I suggest having OVER a 250k/hr income before attempting this save. You will be able to save quicker and not have to fight it longer than necessary. GL man!!

Selling 2 space centers gives a lot extra, you dont need all that. If you're going to buy something only to sell it for money, do it with the 50K trees. You waste lots of build time rebuilding the space centers and you lose the income from them that whole time.

Just didn't have a problem with raids (till I got smacked for 2 mil...ouch), and buildings were coming online fine. Space center is the bur in my side now....soooooo out of reach....

With my first nanotech, i just got to about 12-13mil off collecting my buildings for a few hours. Then there happened to be 2 or 3 glitchers with 100mil+ out. Attacked them a bunch of times to get the last 6-7mil.

Second time, i saved up to about 13mil outside my vault. I then completed a couple of boss missions i had been saving. and made about 3mil. Sold one of my railguns and that gave me enough.

My original plan for the second one was to finish level 4 natural gas as well as level 4 hu metropolis and level 1 DMZ. Had 3 highest payout missions ready to go in natural gas, the boss in DMZ and the 2 highest in hu metropolis. But when daylight savings came around, it for some reason reset my missions so i couldn't go along with that plan. It would of payed out something like 6.5mil-12mil all at once so i would of been guaranteed a nanotech. I ended up sitting getting to 13mil with nothing left to spend energy on and i didn't want to hold the money/energy over night. So i just went for what i could and sold the railgun.

Next time i need to have a lot of money like that out, i will likely save up some missions and have 2 or 3 expansion squares full of trees for resale.

I would think having max vault and riding un-vaulted cash, though it is a gamble, would be a better strategy. Even at the risk of being raided, I would think you'd lose less cash investment.

Although there could be a psychological angle there, I tell you I am maxed out and if you run across me on your list, you won't attack. Due to a glitch with my account, my vault got reset back to 350k during an upgrade and it took a few days to get fixed. I was sitting with $6-8 mill unvaulted every night when I went to sleep. Very nervous week for me!

If youre in the lower levels and youre strong for your level, go ahead and leave it out of your vault. Best possible way to do it. If you are at my levels though. There is no possible way for you to out match any of the dozens of heavy gold spenders as a free player. The longest id hold money out of the vault is a day or two. But i can bring in like 6mil+ a day off income and missions, so thats not bad. However if u really want to play it on the safe side, buying and selling decorations is the way to go. Its all instantaneous and you dont lose the benefit if a building. People selling space centers will waste like 5-6 days rebuilding them and just as much money as reselling the same value in decorations would of cost them. I have bought a few trees for that very reason Stricker. Not sure if it is the best decision. I do get attacked with some regularity, but rarely am beaten at this level. One player did, but now is my ally.

JMC at the higher levels how often are you attacked? I would imagine as you enter whale territory it would be a challenge to keep the money from them.

If youre in the lower levels and youre strong for your level, go ahead and leave it out of your vault. Best possible way to do it. If you are at my levels though. There is no possible way for you to out match any of the dozens of heavy gold spenders as a free player. The longest id hold money out of the vault is a day or two. But i can bring in like 6mil+ a day off income and missions, so thats not bad. However if u really want to play it on the safe side, buying and selling decorations is the way to go. Its all instantaneous and you dont lose the benefit if a building. People selling space centers will waste like 5-6 days rebuilding them and just as much money as reselling the same value in decorations would of cost them. Lol i just said in my post that i do make the 6million+ a day from income and missions. My max income is around 7million, but i probably lose about a million of it from not collecting supply depots all day and then i lose some more since im not right on time with every single collection. Completing missions brings it back up to 6-8mil daily though.

Also forgot to mention in the last post, you also lose about 2.5mil of income while rebuilding the space centers and waiting for the nanotech to finish.

Actually don't get attacked that often. Maybe once or twice every few days, but that's because im fairly strong, i've got a vault that doesn't allow them to get anything and i collect my money buildings pretty quickly so their only chance to effectively raid me is over night.

If you are not very strong in the top tier though, you will be attacked constantly every 2 hours of every single day. Many people have 5000+ losses up here and some are closing in on 10000 losses.

Just to give you an idea of how long that means they've been getting attacked.

5000 losses = 500 sets of attacks. Once every 2 hours maximum = 1000 hours of attacks. Which equates to over 41 days of constantly being attacked.

Also don't think getting raided counts as a loss or a lost raid, so they're probably getting shat on even harder than that.

Whether you have real rivals or not also effects amount of attacks. The only reason anyone would want to attack me is to try and get some money or complete missions. I don't attack people that are similar in strength that might whip out $1000 to pass me, so i don't have any real rivals. Stephen who has something like 130000+ defence put on over 1000 losses a couple of weeks ago because he was at war with people. While i probably put on 2-5 losses weekly. People tend to only attack once since they are getting nothing from me.

I've been playing since December. Lvl 70 now but I could have had my vault fully maxed before now though. Early on I had it sitting at 2.5mil I think for awhile.
