I just got 5 DDs from 2160 energy that's 1 per 432 energy is this normal?(? Is directed to DD farmers) I never took the time to track my drop rate for our beloved m4s but I am going to for the DDs let the games begin!!

Ya that's normal I've gone 4 for 4 a couple times. But have also gone 0 for 6 I think the rate is .24 per click.

Its just above standard Ghost. I get 3-4 from 1900 energy and this has been consistent from the get go!

ive had great success so far 2 1/2 days of looting, 27 total so far.
best ratio i went 5/10 in one session yesterday!!!

I just earned access to Leila's DDs this morning, probably not more than 10 hours ago. I have 7 DDs and I think I have energy to tap that a couple more times before my late supper.
I haven't been keeping track of the rate though. If I had to guess I would say I've made 20 attempts or less thus far. You can make one hit every 57 minutes as a Tycoon, but I woke up with some energy, leveled up after expending that, emptied my level refill, and have been going back almost every hour or two since. I went 4/4 over a period of 4 hours earlier. And the cash payout per hit is no kick in the sac either.
That is a bit high.
I have gotten just under 8 per day over 32 days of full Goodfella energy utilization and full throttle leveling bonus energy bars.
I did get 5 on 1240 energy once, and on rare occasion 4. Much more likely to get 1 or 2.

My stats are avergaged out after accumulating 250. Pretty much on par every time for me. I will be stopping DD's very soon (not just because all this talk will eventually lead to a nerf) but i only receive 5att 0 def from each one now...Very disappointing BUT nothing right now sticks out as a viable option, all are multi click jobs with minimal success attached to them.

The first day I unlocked it, was 7PM, by 5am next morning I had gotten 3. The next day i got 5 and today i got 5 so far im sure ill get couple more by tonight.

It is a very good vehicle compared to what i got, each new DD is now replacing a motorcycle (2,2).

Good to know - I was going to buy the items as I saved but now I will wait until I have it all. I sure don't want to spend $15mil only to have it nerfed just before I get there.
Love getting the DD. Sounds about right for farming Ghost. I lucked out today and out of 1026 energy spent got 3 safes, 3 DD's and cash to go along. One of those safes opened to reveal a beautiful emerald. Good deal.

"When a large percentage of players are doing nothing but farming one specific item we need to take a hard look at that item and make sure there isn't something off about it. If a handful of players want to spend all day getting an item, cool for them. If 30% (made up percent) of our players do it, possible incoming nerfbat.
We want players to have a variety of items, because those items should be balanced against each other. There should be stuff for players to farm up, but it shouldn't be a simple "this is the best and easiest to get item, just do this all day".

@Fricco - thanks. Missed that. We can safely assume that Funzio will actively discourage farming, both by nerfing items/locations and by suppressing values to the point that there is no measurable gain beyond purchasing weapons or PVP/robbery drops.
Bigger picture: they consider any gameplay outside their tight design parameters to be imbalanced or lead to unfair disadvantages. The only edge they're permitting is in-game purchases. This limits the appeal of the game, for me because savvy players can expect to be smacked down when they develop an edge. Or at least the latecomers to any particular strategy. I don't plan on buying any more gold as long as this philosophical approach endures.
