I've accumulated 7 boxes that I need to open before this party is over! I've gotten a Sandhill Sniper and 2 supply frigates from theses dang boxes. Brought my pad to work and have been trying to open every hour! 3 Tits so far thats about it with 3 producing weapons/infantry. Funny thing is I've been getting alot of supply boxes just farming my amphibious trooper!

same here on the farming the amphibious trooper, seem to get a ton of boxes that way compared to pvp, and i'm a pretty veracious pvp guy. lol take a look at my wall and look at the one stream of messages I got from "hellyer1", guy got so pissed. its semi funny.

I wondered the same at one point... wouldn't make much sense to me though, because you have no idea where a pvp loot box came from if you are attempting to potentially control possible control content quality via farming location???

Still think it a slot machine w/more of a fixed element of chance. If there is a factor that contributes to a higher probablity rate, IMHO it's tied to the expenditure of energy & stamina as Boomer stated in the event announcement sticky.

No, not funny. The "Limited Editions Box" that pops up doesn't have a confirmation page for purchase and I was so tired I rubbed my finger on it, good thing it wasn't the plane for 900. That's what sucks about having gold, you have to be super careful. On crime city, I've opened up like 3 emeralds in a row, yet I can't open a damn titanium bar for anything...

I haven't even been lucky on that. I tried the 3 crate one like 8 times and only recieved the hill fighter once, no other rare item. Just one, and got like 9 of everything else. I have been opening boxes pretty good today, but still no bars.

The luck of the draw turns out strange sometimes. I keep getting the bleeping Pirate Gunner...have 8 already!!!! Only one I'm missing though is the Chariot Tank. If I get lucky on the supply boxes, I'll buy more war crates; otherwise, I'll spend trying to get armed infirmary. However, I fear that my lead to serious frustration, if I don't get the dang thing!

Agreed...clearly, you chances of landing a T-bar are not increased by the gold purchase; it's really a factor of opportunity and allowing for more opportunities. Or, you could always set your clock to wake up every hour on the hour, until titanium or bust!

Ok, been irritated all day! So after not getting a bar in three days including today, I tried with gold again and first try got my 9th bar. Tried gold the next couple of hours and still no bar. So just now tried again and still no bar, got angry reset the timer, and retried. Repeated 5 or 6 times before getting my 10th bar! About damn time! Had to use gold but not that much like I was worried about.

I have 8 bars and 11 unopened boxes. Rusty knife hasn't worked 9 times now. Maybe funzio would do this, maybe they wouldn't, but if they set this up so that boxes open less when your near the end... It would be a cheap way of getting people to spend their own money.

I've gone from level 31 to level 40 during this contest. I don't really want to do any more leveling up. Yesterday, someone stole $2 million + from me.

Yeah, I felt that's who I was going to be too. Give it a rest between gold opens, and try a few times with medium then go back to gold. Luke and I both managed to get a bar on our first gold attempt of the day that way. If that don't work, I would just say use gold to open, but let the clock count down, rather than reseting the timer. Good luck.

I managed to get 9 out of 10 bars in 8 days. It turned out that I found a bar in every 5 box I opened. Today, 11 hours before deadline I havent been able to find the last bar number 10 after opening 19 boxes in a row. The case is that the last item - so desired by many- wont be given away if you don't pay real money for resetting and opening the boxes. Big scam !!! I got 9 bars after opening just 43-45 boxes but I can't find the last one after I opened almost 20!!!

It is stated in the official thread.

It's not impossible to get 10 bars (War Priest and Mcdoc got them), but using gold doesn't guarantee you getting them.

I suspect not all supply boxes give u T-bar. Only the mission bosses and certain mission give the bars.
I noticed if PVE, the opened boxes are usually $$$. PVP is Valor. Oil ref mission - Captain gave me at least 4 - 5 bars. I got my 10th bar from Naval battle, boat at the bottom (370x2).

Good luck to all. Tested PVE n PVP, cannot really tell the difference in casualty.

Btw, would Funzio consider retaining the description for 20% lesser casualty for the 10bar unit. It was a really tough unit to get. *lots of sweat n sleepless nights*

Why are these boxes only yielding lame loot today? I have used the torch 10x's today, as I anguish at 9 t-bars, each and every time...500 valor. WTF? I can get that pretty easily by attacking; why are there no $1,250,000 prizes dropping? Or some decent units, that can't be obtained otherwise. I find it extremely irritating to use the gold and get that, or even worse an ally. Seems like Funzio must gave already given away all the Tbars and decent loot!!

You can't get more than 10 bars. They stop dropping once you get to ten. But yeah, the players still trying to get bars would be so angry at you. :p

I know, it's really annoying to waste all the gold in such a manner. After getting jacked 10 consecutive times, I'm considering abandoning the tought of winning this unit by using gold. I have 150 gold bars left and 3 war crates sounds a hell of a lot more gratifying than getting more valor, or another ally!! Maybe I'll find some good fortune and get it with the ole rusty shank!

Nobody said it was impossible. What official thread? On web site? What about players who do no visit website but play the game - they shouldn't be informed?
War Priest and others got the 10 bar because they spent real money. War Priest is lv54 and he got 10, iam lv80 and I didnt manage to find the bar number 10. I opened 22 boxes after I found the bar 9 - none of those 22 had the 10th bar.

This promotion is about tricking you into spending real money, which means its a scam.

I don't know why you are surprised that this event is an income revenue for the developers. All online games makes money one way or another, does that mean all of them are scams...?

You are not being forced to spend money, and you were told that using gold doesn't guarantee a bar. You know the odds and you took the risk voluntarily.

I agree, but it is frustrating. You can spend a lot of time and money on this event and end up with nada. Nobody forced us to participate, but a lot of us wish we hadnt. If you went full speed and didn't get the unit, it is upsetting.

I didn't spend any of my own money on this event, so I'm better off then a lot of guys, but I'm still frustrated. I could have sat at level 30 with the best stats in my level. I don't think I'll participate in the next event.

I got your point but I disagree. First off, I more annoyed rather than surprised. It's not the fact that they make money it's about how they do it. When you go to any shop you pay for an item and get what you paid for. This promotion was NOT about game and gold(pay to get) but more about gambling: casino style box opening with no guarantee and no warning. I was NOT told that gold did not guarantee a bar, and I didn't hear about odds as many other players who didn't visit this forum.

Anyway, even chances were not a random variable/probability: many of us found a bar at first time opening the first ever box. What are the odds of this happening to so many players? No odds just a specific algorithm. Had they told that there are just 1000(2000,3000,4000) players only who'd get the las bar number 9 and 10, the players would know WHAT they risk and WHAT they can expect. Or
