Should I....

1. Buy crates/weapons and get stronger - can rob people for $.

2. Buy 2 G-clubs and 1 rock cafe - boost my own economy.

Thanks.

IMO, go with the economy. There will be a stat boost with weapons, but realistically, it isn't going to have a game changing effect unless you buy a lot of it. Because of that, overall, the amount of money you'll get from buildings will dwarf the stuff you will be able to rob (but couldn't rob without the weapons)

Palm Hotel...or crates. I prefer crates if I were a gold player. Ultimate goal is to be stronger not to make money isn't it?

If you buy crates, then you can rob someone else's palm hotel.

I agree though I'm all for people making lots of money, all the more for me to steal.. haha.

While the stats would help, realistically, how many people were you not able to rob before that you would be able to rob afterwards?

I would base it on the play style you are most interested in.

You probably didn't get the gold just to have it. Whatever prompted you to get it, probably leaning towards economy or strength already, then go with that.

My choice would be gold buildings, but I like economy aspects of the game as well as the fighting and stealing.

Without a doubt gold buildings, when you have all high end gold buildings you could start thinking about buying yourself some crates, 500g won't give you that much of a stat boost compared to what 2 gent clubs + pirate tavern will give you through the extra money generated over the next months..
