Ammo Box Discovery:

Ammo Boxes can be obtained from any action that requires the use of energy or stamina. All missions have a chance to drop a Ammo box, although you cannot get them from your hood. You have a chance to steal boxes from other players in PVP.

The rate in which Ammo Boxes drop is directly related to energy cost of a job (PvE) and a fixed value for stealing in PvP. The higher the energy cost for a job, the better chance at getting a Ammo box.

When a Ammo Box is found, it will fly into a special UI icon which is located at the lower left hand side of the screen. Tapping this icon brings up the events window.

Loot:

* 4 pieces of loot are tied to the event.
* Different levels see different loot for each item: [1-20] [21-50] [51-80] [81+]
* Loot is automatically placed in a players inventory once the amount of Titanium Bars for each are found.
* The last item (10 Titanium Bars) has an item bonus which is -20% unit casualty rates. * As long as a player has this item in their inventory, it will function properly. It does not have to be equipped by them or their Alliance.

Lockpick Kits:

* Players have 3 choices as to how they want to open their lock box.
* Bare Hands: (Free to use and a low chance to open.)
* Rusty Knife: (Cash to use, scales with players level, and a medium chance to open.)
* Blow Torch: (Gold to use, fixed value and a guaranteed chance to open.)
* Once a player taps one of the lockpick buttons, 2 things can happen; they can successfully open the Ammo Box, awarding loot, or fail to open.
* If successful -> a Ammo Box is subtracted from their total.
* If they fail -> they do not lose the Ammo Box.

Lockpick Kit Cooldown:

All attempts at opening a Ammo box will trigger a 1 hour cooldown. A player is only allowed to open 1 Ammo box per hour. If they wish to open more, they can choose to use the reset timer function. This costs 15 gold. Once reset, they are brought back to the main events window where they can attempt to open another Ammo box.

Titanium Bars:

This is sort of an event currency. Titanium Bars have a chance to drop anytime a Ammo box is successfully opened. Players will need to collect Titanium Bars to obtain the loot seen in the main events window. Once 10 Titanium Bars are collected, the end event item is awarded. At this time, players may still open Ammo boxes, although Titanium Bars will stop dropping.

The rate for Titanium Bar drops is gradually reduced as your total number of Titanium Bars increases. This never becomes a 0 or below-0 number.-0 number.

Hey War Priest. It sounds like a MicroSoft PPT transition thingy will show up on the screen. lol.

In Boomers other Sticky it says it's in the new update, and that isn't released yet. I don't get it at all. They started this event yesterday and it ends the 17th, but we don't even have acess to it.

Open and close the app a few times and it should register the supply box in the corner.

Yeah, did this for me. I forced a close on the app, updated and it was fine.

A question, about 'stealing' from pvp, does the other player have to have at least a bar? Or a box have a chance to drop regardless.

I only got one out of ~2000 energy at missions that cost 200-400 each. Is it better to hit a lot of cheap missions?

What I do is go to the first map, which is completed to level 5, and do those missions over and over. They cost low energy and since you have 2,000 you can probably do like 200 missions. I have recieved 3 from there already.

Maybe you have bad luck. I have done four missions in a different map that cost 300 energy each and have won 3 supply boxes from that. 3 boxes out of 4 tries.

If you aren't spending gold, you won't be able to open the boxes quicker than you can get them. So just do whatever missions you normally do, don't waste your energy on something useless.

The event units are automatically added to your inventory after getting 3/5/7/10 bars. And you keep all the bars that you have.

Some things I noticed.

The rewards vary depending on level 80+ has tech hovercraft to armed infirmary 125/305.

L70 is slightly lower values, desert elite to response unit 100/254

L40 is sandhill sniper to recovery unit 70/197.

Not all boxes have titanium bars got one with 250,000 cash.

I have been Hittin up the naval battle the one everyone farms for cash 2*370 I have got 5 boxes out of 6 hits. That one works great for me but have not tried anything else. Only down side is xp per hit is over 100

For PvP you take supply boxes from others. So you can only get one if the person youre attacking has some.

Looks like it is much easier for a PVE player to get the box,but the end game item is a pvp one. For pvp players,may need to wait a few days until ppls number is box is more than the number of hours the even has start..bad news

I have been attacked 3 times so far since the event started no doubt they were looking for boxes being since I only get attacked like every other day and I usually win but I did not loose any boxes yet. So looks like pve is the way to go like everyone else is saying for a better drop rate.

No, but a trick used during the CC event after a day or two is to check their inventory to see if they have any event items for 3, 5, 7 bars then you know they are playin the event and most likely have boxes.

It is best to only do missions for at least the first day, otherwise you're just wasting your time and units lost trying.

Yes, I thought the same. And to be a pure pvp player, I m not worried at all for not getting and box. As in Oder to make money,funzio must have let the box drop rate faster than people's open speed, so that they can spent gold on clear the timer.

Gold does NOT guarantee a bar it only guarantees an open box. Don't kid yourself.

got 3 so far from amphibious squad leader at docks, 92 energy and 100% loot drop as well so this seems good for me until i find better spots, only 350 energy so cant do the late and high energy missions yet

Attacking and raiding people isn't really the way to go unless they have spare boxes which you never know. But I don't see why you haven't recieved any from missions.

In cc raiding would drop a box whether or not a box was held by the player. Only attacking took a box off them. But I agree in MW missions should be the way to go as the casualty bug makes raiding lose more in unit value than cash gained. I hadn't raided for ages before today.

Hey Vitus. I think you may need to break down and do a mission or 2. I've gotten about 8 boxes in less than a day and they were all obtained through missions. Not saying its absolute but 200 fights is a lot to come up with nothing.

It is very hard to get a supply box from a mission. If you want to use PvP to farm supply box, you would have a little chance to get. I recommend try to get from mission. Farming supply box is similar to play lottery, if you lucky you will get it. After that, if you lucky you can get a titanium when you open the box. When you reach 3, 5, 7, and 10 you will get a unit automatically without reducing titanium bar. I already got 3 titanium and I get a Sand Shock troop, my titanium bar still shows 3/10.

To have 30 boxes, you have to have done at least 30 missions. That's a lot of missions for the short time this has been out.

I have the evet icon in the lower left corner.
I have been using all my energy and stamina all day on 100s of PvE and PvP battles and raids.
But I have still not received a single Supply box.
Are the Supply boxes really so hard to get?

Just do your regular mission, whatever one your currently trying to master. Devs said that chances are greater the bigger the mission is. Got five on Insurgent block alone, three on one run at a car.

I've had no problem getting boxes through missions, but I don't always get what I want out of them. But I really want that response unit so I'm continuing to try. I believe this promotion is a way for developers/marketers to force you to play and move up in the game. You have the option (with gold of course) to open boxes immediately, and you can open 1 per hour for free, so the chances of many players having them long enough to loot them in a raid/attack are slim.

Raids are random drops like missions, the player doesnt have to have one for it to possibly drop but in my experience missions are the best bet at the present time.

7 of my 19 boxes came frm pvp. Bt the best drop rate still is the pve. I got 3 frm a missions tht required 8 hits to complete. U dnt hv to complete the missions to get the boxes.
While the boxes r quite easy to get, the opening part is a diff story altogether. Only managed to open 4 so far out of mny attempts. I lost count

I've had good luck so far 3 titanium bars, a great unit, 375k cash and 500 respect. But if it's set up like the cc event once you get 6 or 7 bars you'll be opening up to 30 odd boxes to get the next bar and that's the ones that open.

If they hold another MW event the boxes could possibly return but its not likely as they want to generate activity and income so I expect they would reset everything. Time will tell

Try deleting app and reinstalling from iTunes, otherwise click support from your device and submit a ticket. Be sure to include your in game name and ID number.

Making a event that the final prize is a fuc**** unit with 20% fewer casuality, that is almost impossible to get this without spending some gold.

I was thinking the same thing. I got 4 bars yesterday. Today I'm 0/10 with rusty knife. I doubt the algorithm has anything to do with chance, it is perfectly designed to get you to buy a rock of old. I've resisted so far.

Making a event that the final prize is a fuc**** unit with 20% fewer casuality, that is almost impossible to get this without spending some gold.

Very true. You increase your chances 100% of getting something valuable (except the extra ally) if you spend gold. And you want to end up with something decent after all is said and done.

I've opened at least a dozen boxes and have gotten plenty of cash, a few good units, one extra ally (sucks - I have more than I need) and 4 bars. This "promotion" won't last and I want that freakin response unit.

No, you get a single unit at 3 and then a single unit at 5 and so forth. You wont get another 'desert elite' at 6 and 9 TB's

That is true. That's why you wait to use gold to open them toward the end when you already have close to 10 bars and just need a couple more. If it comes down to that.

Lots of cases open, have 3 bars, 2x 300 valor, 1 Capital Tank, 1 Torpedo Boat and $100K so far. No gold bought for any of this stuff.

Update: 2 hours later, 1 Cargo ship and $500K.

Well you are one of the few that got something and find it worth it....65 boxes / 6 bars in +50 attempts (lol they called "medium" chances that's is 1 in 10..... ) / +/- 240.000 direct cash for opening and over 200 units lost to get the boxes with an avg cost of 1.8mill .. I should have used
1/4 of the time keep the cash fron pvp,etc and bought cost/effective units....would have gotten a much better bang for the buck....

@Duplicity2: the extra allies suck, that's right. That's the thing I need the least at this level. But I can't complain for the rest since I didn't lose that much. BUT I stopped PvP a long time ago, trying it just once in a while. That's why I was so hoping for the enhanced ambulance and the -20% casualties...

Now this is very interesting: I watched the timer go out resisting the urge to buy good to the see what's inside my last boxes (hoping for a bug, LOL) and after 0:00:00 now they replaced it by "SOON". So you can think twice and maybe still buy some gold... Those guys do know how to make you grab your wallet. I was strong enough to resist *proud* ;)

Well,

I have taken a whole lot of boxes and tried all week without paying for gold. It was impossible to open them with their "medium" solution. Also whenever I opened it there were no Titanium bars.

I started buying some gold to get the remaining boxes open in order to finish the mission.
Still not possible to get the job done. The closer we got to the weekend the harder it got.

So money spend, gold gone and still nothing. Stuck at 6 titanium bars. I tried it all and now know I will not try it again by buying gold.

Typical example of earning quick cash, but no returning customers. Shame for a first event. The idea behind it was good and it got people more active again, but thats about all. People will now return in their less active mode and that means it was just a temporary and one time solution.
