Buying M4 A1 with respect points popup window

I didn't know this was an option. Just robbed someone and a popup window appeared after the battle giving me an option to buy one M4 A1 for 450 respect points.

Is this a new feature? Did I somehow complete a mission?

Anyways I did not accept the offer as I am saving up respect for chain whips. Currently am level 40 and am on a robbing spree hitting successfully 1000 plus times in the last week or so. I have 44 M4s currently and seem to average 4-6 drops per day in junkyard.

If you click the "BUY" button it says it cant be purchased.

Had one day with just got one drop. Finding 4 attempts seems to be the sweet spot then I walk away. However, if I hit one I reset the attempts to one and try 3 more times. I only unload all 760 energy just before sleeping or will be tied up indefinitely.

Have not noticed any correlation between successful attempts and time of day.

I did most of my M4A1 with multi-click Nadya. I am now at the shooting range and getting below normal results.

Is this just bad luck or something more sinister? Bad karma?

I did manage to go from 203 feb 1 - 364 feb-29 (i thank Nadya for most of that)

It is not a new feature, been there forever. No option to buy & no mission completed... you probably tapped the M4 on the fight/rob screen which popped it up, like with any weapon. That "option" to buy for 450R has never been corrected by Funzio. You can't buy the M4s, only loot them.

I think they should of added them to lock boxes,your getting loot items anyway might as well throw m4 in there. I rather get that then all the punker jackets that have been spit out.

I just leveled to 51 and started on Boardwalk. So far around 4 with around 1800 energy spen. I actually got 2 in a row, which never happened at junkyard...I have noticed that BW gives a substantial amount more XP/hit than junkyard. I'm leveling up quicker now, which is probably bad.
