This is a thread for all the newbs (including me atm) to get some help in the section of the game also known as loot farming. Please try not to get too sidetracked in this thread, I don't want this to turn into some big argument of something stupid like some other threads I've read. Thanks for your input guys!

Think in the long run though...Don't be discouraged by the buy in, the rewards are there. I would value the DD"s at around 18mil each anyway, look at it that way

For those of us with poor economies, that 15 million is really intimidating.

It is not that the double deckers aren't worth it, but that sticker shock....

I'm n 395 m4s and will be done in a week or two so I need to start saving, I currently have 46k per hour so will need to save for a couple of weeks

Anyone know if you should tap leila with a full energy ball for better drop rate, or just whenever you have enough energy per time? Any difference?

A with all drops it is a fixed rate and it makes no difference, but some people are superstitious and if you are one of those then rub a lucky stone or wphtever you do :)

I dump all i can into her and usually get 3-4 out of 1900 energy, then throughout the day its 2-3 taps for 1 DD.

-Use RP to purchase around 200 NVB's.
-Slowly stock up on 69 Camaro's.

Later:

-Hopefully finish M4 farming.
-Start farming DD's.
-Stock up on steel garrottes, 69 Camaro's.
-Buy CW's with RP.

Is this a good plan? Of course, this is all tentative. The game will probably have hanged by the time I'm level 120 sooo...

Why buy steel garrotes when you plan to replace them with Chain Whips? I'd say to farm m4's and double deckers and pump all of your cash back into your economy. Use the respect gained from PVP to buy chain whips.

Because it's only slightly better defense than NVB. Folks will generally want to buy NVB for the added atk anyway, and UWV 20 def can be replaced eventually by FBI Shields (excellent cash value, comparatively - which is very rare for near-end-game items) or Full Combat Gear.

As folks complete M4A1 chore, DD becomes the next logical choice.

While S&M Choker and UWV are both available as alternative farms, neither is a particularly solid choice with DD being so much more compelling.

I saw somewhere on here a while ago that you could farm titanium guard (7/32) by hitting the bank in Russian district. Only thing is I'v never seen that said again since, can anyone confirm it?

M4A1 is listed as loot for the bank in the Russian District in the Crime City iOS Jobs database.

The DD farming from Leila is conditional on being willing to pay the buy-in, which I cannot afford yet.

The City Bus at Empire Airport has a lower drop rate but a much cheaper buy-in.

I have not done it yet, I am just going by the Crime City iOS Jobs spreadsheet.

Totally agree.

And Santa... just in case... If I make an assumption about where you might've been heading with the "2 farm, 2 respect" comment. That doesn't imply there's 0 value to money.

As Bruiser points out, you'll need it for the FBI Shields. You'll also want it for Explosives, which are quite expensive now. And possibly for additional end-game relevant items, since everyone paying attention is going to have some close variant of the list stated here as a baseline, effectively.

Plus some of the farming locations require quite a bit of cash to unlock, too.

I completely agree with Bruiser...The one thing I might add is I'm trying to leave some room for when Funzio changes things up, I'll be able to change my strategy, which means I might only farm/buy ~350 of each item, so I remain flexible. Then I'll go back and fill in if nothing has changed.

Yeah, that's what I've decided also...400 max of any will do for now, hence why I stopped at 400 NVBs. Other items should adequately fill the gaps for in the interim. I will hit 400 M4A1s finally, finally tomorrow...praise be...altthough I don't fancy the idea of moving onto farming DDs very much...:(...but I'll give it a trail for a few days to see how it goes and what it does for my stats.

I now have $14690000 in the bank and 455 M4A1. Torn between dropping the lot to start on DD's, buying a hotel or just holding onto the cash for a while. If things go well, I could possibly afford a Nightclub as early as this time next week. I know I should probably start on the DD's, but I mean... $15mil... that's like... 100000 smoke bombs. Or 10 Underboss' Houses.

If you are still getting a good drop rate at junkyard, stay there. You will notice a significant loss in drop rate at some point, and that's when you should move to boardwalk.

I dont see the point in getting DDs or NVB since exelero beat DDs and full combat gear surpases NVB, so wouldnt it be better to invest got the long term rather than waisting time money and respect on mid tier equipment ??

i believe everyone has a different stopping point, mine is 401
I am a strong attk person so i have 68 sawn offs and 26 RPG
with every sawn off i gain 2 attk and 16 attk for rpg
those two added i am getting 1,072 attk over the 752 def i would
receive from 500 M4's .

I also have a few crate guns.

Max mafia is 500... That is why most players want 500.
I stopped BW farming M4s at 411, luckily before Funzio changed rates or whatever they did, but I only use 404, so 7 of them aren't being used at all... worth as much as a pistol now... Zero. My goal was to farm until needed.

Has anybody's M4 drop rate completely gone in the ****ter since the great disappearing M4 fiasco? I hit Pier 13 and Boardwalk today and spent over 3,000 energy and didn't get any. In fact, I didn't get any yesterday after it was fixed either.

i didnt try yesterday with all the commotion
