Chain whip or steel garrotte?

Which should I go for at the moment? I have 0 garrottes and about 3 chain whips, which is more practical?

Chain Whips, you will replace the garrote eventually. That is what I am in the process of doing now.

Steel Garrottes in the short term and Chain Whips in the long term. Don't waste RP on any other mellee item that's a definate.
