Following on from anither thread, just wondering how i compare

Btw when I assign +1 to attack or defense I see no overall change in my Alliance Attack/Defense stats in my profile, is that right?

Skill points do not factor into your attack and defense scores. It's always been a secret and I guess in some ways that makes things a bit more interesting since these skill points can really make a difference depending on the spread.

Agent Orange - just for clarification - they don't show up as part of your defence scores but Attack and Defence skill points still make a difference in winning or losing don't they? Or do they? I also wonder if a high defence skill matters at all to raids...any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you are correct, they don't factor into the visible defense and attack scores. But do indeed make in some cases a big difference when you are attacking or are attacked. I have a fairly high defense skill point score and it can make as much as a 10,000 pt difference in an attack depending on the attackers attack skill points.

Stamina replenishes so quickly I don't see the point in spending skills on it. Never attack unless I am certain of victory anyway so don't bother with attack any more. Defence seems to work. Get attacked every other day and very rarely lose (though this often appears to be because my opponent didn't bother checking my stats).

Like to play every part of the game (except raiding which is pointless for me given the casualty rate) so energy is important to keep the missions ticking over at the sand rate that I advance.

I think your reading the wrong A and D scores.

Really depends on how you play the game, which is what gives this game so much versatility.

I had a good run by attacking using my low Allie strategy - but as I near level 70, It seems the game experience will totally change according to input from others. My goal now is to Allie up to 200 before I reach Level 70 and get my Def number as High as possible.

Uh oh. Is A and D skill points? What a noob. I haven't used those yet. I have 1 Attack and 1 Defense Skill Point. Does that sound more realistic?

A and D refer to Attack and Defense score, usually alliance A and D, but since this thread is about skill points that's what I was refering to. Sorry for the confusion. I should have clarified.
