Targeting everyone with less than 500 Mafia

Ok, so when I was doing Thug Life goals I somewhat avoided everyone with less than 500 mafia unless they were in my news, for obvious reasons. However, I always thought it was a ***** move and held out some resentment for everyone who was avoiding the majority of attacks by doing this. It's clearly a tactical move on their part to do just that. So now that I've been done with Thug Life goals for a while, I've been intentionally targeting everyone I see with less than 500 mafia and will continue to do so. It's caused some to bump their mafia up to 500. That's basically what I'm looking for, so I'll lay off if they do that. Just wanted to let all the 4-9-9's and their dumber 4-7-9 and 4-8-9 kinfolk know why I might be constantly in their news feed.

The Thug Life goals require you to beat rivals with 500+ mafia. To avoid being targeted, many people dropped to 499 to avoid it, even though getting attacked did nothing other than effect their stats a little and fill their wall a little.

The thing that pisses people off about it is that the 499 folks were still going after the 500+ folks for their OWN Thug Life goals, which pissed people like me off, because for a while there it was hard to find people with 500 Mafia and it slowed down achieving your Thug Life goals.

So now, yes, I target only 499 people. And I will as long as there are 499 people.

Much less people will attack you because they're trying to complete thug life goals, which require you to hit someone with 500+ mafia. A tactical move by scared players to avoid the attacks for the goals. It's easier for me to understand when someone has ****ty stats for whatever reason, and is above level 125 and doing it because they can't compete....but I see players with great stats doing it all the time now.

It's a lot of the same people who are picking on all the other weaker players who aren't scared to have a full mafia...to complete their own thug life goals. I dunno I just always thought it was a ***** move and now it feels good to go after all of em.

I'm not avoiding the 500 number, I'm just playing the way I always have, with only the Mafia size that I can actually use.

But I'm now thinking that I should upgrade to 500 in order to get attacked more. Why? Because my stats are pretty good, I have a 99% win ratio on fights, and I'm thinking with over 500 mafia I'll probably get attacked more, perhaps win some dough and R points without trying, and also get more names on my wall to take revenge on.

Thoughts?

When I was on 475 mafia I did ot accept any more invites until I had 25 invites because I did not want to be stuck close to 500 with people thinking I was avoiding attacks. It was only a couple days wait and I have been getting attacked much more but have lost maybe 2 in the past 50 attacks, I also target people with below 500 and I look out for their names if they have defence explosives and 499 mwuhahaha

Let me clarify. I have no problem with those who have less than 500 who are under level 100. The ones I have an issue with are the ones using less mafia than they could, simply to avoid attacks.

You cant upgrade to 500 until you are level 100 as you can only take 5 mafia per level into a fight.

so for you 96 x 5 = 480

Joey, if I have 500 I can be attacked as part of Thug Life goals, I won't be able to use my 500 I know, but then nor can those I'm fighting, because we are all below Level 100, and within a level or two of each other.

It is the size of your Mob that counts for Thug Life, not how many you can use - I am pretty far through TL goals and have never fought anyone who could actually use all of their 500+ Mob, because as said above, we are all below 100 level.

I was able to do my attack people with over 500 mafia before level 100, I agree that it is not a problem having 480 if you are ot level 100, if you do have 500 at that level though you still count to the higher end thug life goals, just incase others didn't know :p

The point is that people will still only see you showing 480 on their rivals list... so they will probably target someone on their feed who shows 500. Thats what my point is.

When you are similar level to max, synergy and I... all we normally see is 500. so a 499 on the list really stands out like a sore thumb.

Joey they would not target someone showing 500 mafia because at that level you only see +-1 level so 485 is the most, but you are right you would not be targeted unless they visit your hood and check your profile for mafia members before attacking, I'm 106 and still only see +-1

Oh i know, I finished thuglife a while ago about 3 weeks before the lockbox event, and i really dont care about how much mafia who has, I just blind attack or in your case, rob pirate taverns :p

I dont normally rob or attack forum members. I dont have to avoid attacking any one called ghost again now though. I think there are more than one.

Correct, for us playing at below Level 100, they only show on Rivals List at Max number they can use, but you click those on Max number, and when you check them out many are over 500+, at which point you attack them repeatedly to get yout TL wins ;)

It makes Thug Life a chore below level 100, because you are always checking mob numbers before attacking.

Upside of this manual checking of Mob numbers is you see their stats and avoid getting into pointless wars with people that have crushing stats because of heavy Gold investment.

I mostly just blind attack. I find it takes too long to check everyone's stats. I just pick on lower level players. Although I have been caught out a few times by hitting heavy gold investors like you say.

I think thug life ends at 188.

H H I imagine ends at 200 being as how you unlock them according to what level you are on. ie. when i hit level 161 I unlockd HH round 161.

but on the side note of 500 members, I wonder if I need to boost my stats. its hard to judge where you are supposed to be. If there is a way, then i do not know about it.
