Boardwalk nerfed?

Has anyone else noticed the drop rate for the M4A1 being lower than before the lockbox event? This may have already been discussed but it's kind of frustrating. Or maybe it's just me....

I am 0 for 10 with Nadya and it is really easy to get frustrated by small sample statistics.

I believe that it is back to the drop rate before the lockbox event. During the event I sometimes got 5 or 6 from one full energy bar. Now I am back to between 0 and 2. As Swifty pointed out I can't be sure, but it really seems that way.

If the average rate with Nadya is 1 in 4, then the chances of going 0 for 10 is about 5%.

Another way of looking at it is if 20 players do 10 tries on Nadya, then by random chance alone, one of those players is going to be 0 for 10. And of course, I just happen to be that player.

But then I start thinking that Funzio looked at their numbers and decided that I was getting too many M4A1s and nerfed the drop rate.

I've noticed that when I just level up and get full energy and I spent it all on the shooting gallery I never get any M4's, however when I have little energy and farm little by little I generally get them.

I think the OP is just having bad luck. I normally get 5-10 a day.

DD drops - got 3 thus far this morning from the airport. Slower farming than m4s - 4 - 7 per day. Only works on CC HD.

I'm late to the M4 party. I haven't farmed any yet. I mentioned this before, but I just haven't been able to get myself to do it because it sounds so boring. But, I figured I might as well start since apparently that's what you have to do in order to even think about competing.

Today, my first day farming, I'm 0 for my first 11. I see you guys talking about small sample sizes all the time, but good grief. The first time I try farming and I'm 0 for 11? This sucks. Actually I probably tried a half dozen times prior to this as well, so conservatively I'm probably 0 for 15 total.

I'm playing the HD version 2.1.3 build 140. Does that matter? Should I be use the non-HD version to farm? My non-HD version is 2.2 build 180.

I understand it's random but over time it seems to have an expected drop rate, but like I said, I'm 0 for 15 total and it's pretty discouraging to start out on such a bad streak.

Oh, I should mention this has all been at Boardwalk.

Only level 58. But I limit my Energy to 550 as thats the max and i do believe the skill points have an affect in battles. It's been a while since i've gone up against someone who about the same # of Mafia atk/def as me so i can't really tell.

Now after *****ing about it, I just got one now so I'm 1 for 12 today. 1 down 499 more to to. Maybe I'll have them by the time the world ends in December.
