Just a heads up to you guys spending your real cash on this game. After spending around $200 on this game over 4 months or so, I recently had 80 gold dissapear from my inventory. When I asked for it back, I was told to suck it. Of course they were much more polite than to say it like that, but it is what it is.

So the next time you decide to spend your hard earned cash on this game, think twice.... This coming from a company bragging on their website that they have $20 million dollars to throw around.

If you want to know the details, I posted them on this forum a week ago or so.

Did they say this: "that's sounds like a you problem, not an us problem."

LOL not those words, but some to that effect. I's not the end of the world, because it was only a few real dollars that they were able to steal. It just makes me wonder what kind of idiot is sitting there thinking that it's a good idea to withhold 80 in game gold pieces from a customer that is willing to spend hundreds with your company. I will never spend another penny with this game, or any other that Funzio has anything to do with.

It would be quite interesting and fun to have a real life CC get together. I however have no social life what so ever... In fact I am an embarassment to people with no social life. :p
I work 72 hours each week and sleep as much of the rest of the week as possible.

I live in the Oakhurst neighborhood though. Im a recent transplant, I love it here!

Also, apparently they make a small fortune from idiots who spend $2k on an extremely simplistic game, but still can't find a way to stop it from crashing every 10 minutes.

In my case, you get what you pay for. I don't know what to tell the people who actually pay for this.

QA could use a lot of work, too. It seems with every revision there's a game-changing exploitable flaw, and information sharing is becoming so fluid that players are increasingly pressured to take advantage of these flaws or be left behind.

pfft. If I cared about being "left behind" in this game, I'd shoot myself in the face. Seriously... anyone who wants to can simply buy success, and what exactly is the "goal" anyway? I see everyone here seems to be really upset about getting robbed, but who cares? I just build my buildings, collect them when I get around to it, and if I only get 50% of my income sometimes, that's still better than NOT building the buildings... a "strategy" I've actually seen people advocate! Is the goal to get the most money? The highest level? Do some people just want to never be attacked?

It's kind of hard to worry about being "left behind" when there's really nowhere we're racing to.

The exploitable glitches apply to gold, too, so that one guy spending $2,000 is much stronger than the other spending $2,000.

I could get you a copy of sim city and a new computer to run it on for half of that, so they should both be committed. Games like this are free for a reason.

+1 TS on observation of QA issue and the fact that Dipstik is one c from perfection.

I actually slightly misread Dipstik's post so my comment was somewhat out of line.
