Defense ?

Like many others I found the forum after I made a total mess of my Hood. I have been upgrading and getting back on track and now am "ok". I have been filling times by building Gatling Guns, my question is once I hit 50 GG's is it worth it to upgrade them to level 2 or should I move on to other defense buildings. I don't have a lot of space but am expanding regularly so that is not a big concern.

I have read many threads that def buildings don't help so much when upgraded but I have yet to be totally convinced. I have robbed and fought the same person many times and their stats always show the same....maybe I am missing something here.

Anyway I would appreciate any and all opinions on the GG's. BTW money is not a concern in upgrading.

I read it's worth it to upgrade them to level 2 or 3 and after that it's a bit of a waste. I don't have the numbers to back this up though.

Looks nice :) although I wouldnt go all out and focusing on def and stopping your econ
