What happens when the time on the event runs out tomorrow?

Just doing my normal gameplay, I've accumulated 30 lockboxes.

I open one every hour, but I accumulate new ones faster than I can open them.

What happens when the time on the event runs out tomorrow,
and there is still a bunch of lockboxes in a persons inventory?

I would imagine they disapear, I have over 100 now which is odd considering I don't most of the fighting and jobs on the HD version

According to the beta testers they disappear as the event will be over... But they might kick back into inventory for the next event, assuming their is one
