I have suspicion that it isn't entirely random. I've had too many runs of having 4 drops in te fights against a specific opponent. However, I've not been able to really summon up the energy to do anything to find out.

Pretty sure it increases as you attack higher level oponents. I got 1 pimp low rider from my first 15,000 fights, then 1 from the next 5000 and from my last 10,000 fights (mostly L140+ oponents) I have got an extra 10 lower riders

Yes, better loot drops at higher levels.

In my personal experience, I seem to notice that when successfully attacking players 15-20+ levels above me OR successfully attacking players with defense very close to or above my attack, I'll get more RP, more XP, and more pvp loot.

I have seen my attack stat actually drop by 80-90 after picking up a steyr aug! wth! ...weird.

To be honest I was confused too when my attack stats dropped when I had picked a loot weapon, then I realized it was because I used up some explosives that decreased my attack.
So if you use explosive that may be the reason.

nope, i wish. I do have explosives but none used up, and it has happened several times... Almost on a daily basis.
My stats have even dropped picking up an M4 from the BW/SG. I would think it is because another weapon drops out when, like when an M4 is picked up... But not lowered by 80+ points! Then I thought it must be some sorta weapon rearranging going on among the mafia friends, but after several hours & restarting CC, my stats are still lower than when I got the new weapon. I have only noticed this stat drop with guns. I figure it is another CC game-play mystery.

If I was you the best thing is take a picture of your stats every time you add a new weapons.

When you notice a difference send the 2 picture to funzio as it must be an exclusive glitch on your game as your att/def stat should never decrease when you add another weapon to your inventory.
