Improving my defence

I am level 111 and my defence is weak and keep getting 'your mafia is weak' pop up. Anyone offer any advice with regard to 'farming' items and where I can get them to beef up my defence and attack too. I appear to have missed the point of this earlier as I don't post often. Thanks guys.

You'll find the forum a veritable goldmine of info - try searching for 'M4A1' for a start - this is the primary weapon to farm for its 20/22 stats. Be warned though, farming is a very, very tedious process...becoming more and more so with every CC release as good map locations have their drop rates nerfed rapido. You want to be doing plenty of PvP too and earn those RPs in order to acquire large numbers of the RP weapons to outfilt your mafia with, if you haven't already done/doing so.
