Need Gold Spending Advice

So for starters Funzio, nice marketing. Made me man up and make my first gold purchase (1500) now I have 700 left I need advice, 2 Pirate taverns and rock cafes OR save for future events?

welcome to the club (i've spent $40 bucks on the game). you can never go wrong investing in money buildings, especially high level ones (pirate tavern, rock cafe, gents' club, palm hotel). all but pirate tavern are 12hr&+ buildings which guarantees an almost perfect collection rate. you will not be disappointed.

Money buildings. Then wait for the next sale and buy more for the rest of the money buildings. Besides $ buildings, I have only spent a few gold on the sale crates when they 1st came out to get down to 1k gold... the price of the palms!

If I cant finish the event without gold though I will feel pretty silly when I get more :)

I had 1500 used em up on crates and the goodfella. gonna get pirates and rock cafe, i doubt ill spend any more money though this was just extra cash i had lying around.
