What happens if you fail to complete a hardcore hitman?

I'm semi close to failing to complete a hardcore hitman for a level, what will happen if i level up before completing this? Will i lose the chance to gain that respect and complete that goal? Will it be change to the same hitman round but for the next level? Or will it just continue as normal and it doesnt matter?

No...it will still be there for you to complete. AFAIK, no goal is ever removed until completed.

You should still have the goal in progress when you go to the next level. I've never noticed them disappear until I've actually completed them, despite multiple level ups since I began them.

Awesome, ty sir. I'm on level 108, so once i complete these fights even if i were to be on level 112 or something, would the next one to unlock be level 109 or level 112 hitman? I've spent most of this level robbing, hence the few fights.
