In 2.2 we launched our crates feature, that allows players to buy a crate for a chance at a random prize.

Crates are found in your store under the "Special" tab and are 50g each or 3 for 145g.

I went to buy some crates and the prices are 50 and 145 gold. Is there a way to get them for less?

It's a HUGE money maker, it'll be around for a looong time to come.

As far as I am aware this is an ongoing feature. This is something we have in our Facebook titles, and is generally considered a good product.

The pricing thing was a mistake that unfortunately got out without anyone noticing, and I apologize for us setting false expectations.

About the skull smasher uncommon loot. For me it displayes 16att/13 def, but in fight screens it comes second, meaning it atleast has over 50 att. Anyone else noticed this?

The skull smasher displays 74/54 for me in both the fight screen and inventory screen.

I had the same issue initially. Looks like it was a display error that has been corrected as it now shows the correct values.

If I am not mistaken, it shows the lower score right when you open the crate, but when you look in your inventory/fight screen its the right stats. Unfortunatly I didn't take a screen shot when I got mine.

Whos 3J QA1? If u look in the picture they have $2,800,000,000. I thought funzio developers/assisants didnt have accounts in the game from what i heard?

Sure, but that's on a QA server. It's internal. No one can interact with that account in any way.

How many vengeance pistols does one get per crate?

I saw someone with 200 vengeance pistols. Did they buy 20 crates? 200 crates?

I am not accusing anyone of anything here, I am just curious about how many you get per crate?

id say at least 1-2 per 3crate, sometimes none but 2 riot armors. they bought alot crates, prolly with the cheap price glitch. i wonder if funzio will nerf those players with 300+ vengance and riots, mostly all those new starts mentioned on another thread have this amount of crate items and i cant believe all are bought with 145 per 3 crates...

Those crates are a joke. Might as well lower the price to 45 gold for everybody, then everyone can't complain.

Based on my personal results, one should expect to loot a vengeance pistol 21% of the time (the most common for me is the eviscerating blade at 23.8%). So, to answer your question, I would guess they purchased somewhere around 952 crates, or 317 of the three packs.

Three things.

First, for some reason I am reminded of that part in one of the hitchiker's guide books where a ship entirely populated by exiled telephone sanitizers crash landed on a planet and they proceeded to stuff their sweatpants full of leaves, as it was decided leaves would be the new currency. I just can't remember which one of the five books in the trilogy that part was in.

CCM started out OK. Even had a meet and greet in NY for CC fans. Came bearing gifts. But like all CC Mods, over time, he became clinically insane.
CJ54 replaced/took over for him and was kicking butt in the beginning. Very helpful, informative and rational.
That was then. We all see the nonsensical shell of a human being that he has become.

I liken the job of mod on this board to the press secretary. They don't make any decisions. They don't have any power. But they are asked to explain the explainable.
