What exactly is camping?

camping: is an intentionally passive game strategy where the player attempts to not to level up and stay at current level for as long as possible.

camping used to be an event where men can brush off the burdens of society by man handling bears in an attempt to establish a heirarchy. From a strictly MMORPG perspective, CC Mark is correct. Eg. Camping a mob, or camping a spot usually to build up golds or loots by said mob(s) at the spot.
However, in a CC context, it seems us players have changed the definition a little...

I've always understood camping to be synonymous with turtling.
